Loved this. I live for off the cuff magic. It’s quick and dirty like you say and it’s potent and powerful in a way that ritual and planning can never be. We cannot be disingenuous when it comes to spell crafting and it’s awesome that you brought this up. What works for one witch might hold fuck all power for another. I’m currently working with a dolls house I’ve made where each room is decorated accordingly, representing aspects of myself and areas of life I am working on. It holds power because I say it does. It’s magic because I say it is. Thank you for highlighting the importance of self belief because we can’t be witches without it 💕💕💕

Kelly-Ann I absolutely love your videos with a nice cup of Earl Grey. I as well don't cast spells on a regular base, I still spend some time on a daily bases at my altar. It is definitely a personal journey in regards to Witchcraft. Much love!!!!!
Cuppa o’ kava stress relief. I love all of this. I don’t do sacred space...it doesn’t resonate. I do do tons of protection work all the time & like to think I’m always walking around in sacred space. I will every once in a while, with the powerful shizz that may attract weirdness, do a more pronounced protection thing beforehand. And there are workings one must absolutely protect oneself. But generally, protection/cleansing is a life practice more than a magical practice. As for when to do spells, I agree totally with everything you’ve said. For me, building a paradigm helped me discern. Moon phases/ days of the week will often figure into my practice because it provides a framework that makes sense to me. I am grateful for you!! ❤️

Oh, how I adore your rambles. I love to hear about other witch's process and how they work. It's always inspiring, even when it's not my bag. I'm also a big proponent of on-the-fly magic when you really FEEL it. It is often the only magic I have time for, as going through more complex spells or ritual. I felt the need to say thank you once again. As someone who does not have anyone to talk to about my spirituality I appreciate your videos. I start out listening and end up in a more meditative state with a note book and off on my own thoughts and views. Sometimes I have to go back and watch a video again because I got lost. Also, I can't stand saying Blessed Be to people cause I feel like it's from some past bygone age too. I find that I often feel uncomfortable when doing a spell and so I need to did it twice until I do feel comfortable. That's when it finally works and I just say so be it. I guess practice makes perfect.
I think that this is totally valid. I have often said that rituals and spells may indeed need to be performed several times, for various reasons. Sometimes, with ritual in particular, I already sense - even before doing it for the first time - that I will have to do it three times for it to feel like it's really stuck. Who else has the right to tell you any different, right?!

No tea for me right now. But I'm sipping an orange-vanilla Coca-Cola. New flavour. Kind of orange-cream toned down by cola a bit. Interesting. My spells are almost always quick and dirty. Rarely do I plan things really far in advance. Unless it's related to a specific time I have to plan for. Like if I want to do a specific spell during a holiday, or a celestial event of some kind, I plan. But almost never. Honestly my most recent spell was planting a small tree in my yard, on the solstice. 😜 I don't write my words in advance but usually the words flow. I've tried to write my words down after the fact, to be able to replicate later. But I could never get it just right. And then reading it back later it never sounded right. Very spontaneous spell girl here. 😜 I have always been weird about a wand. A staff is fine. But I've literally never wanted a wand. Aside from something specifically for make-believe. My mental visualisation is always good enough for me to clear space without using a wand or blade. I do like the idea of the pebbles from under the waterfall. Sacred pieces of the world to mark out a sacred space. I do something sort of similar with my divination casting set. I may go further with that. Great idea. I think spellcraft is SOMETIMES tiring. Working specifically with spirits is exhausting for me. I do sortilege divination (think similar to bone casting). And with that I do a lot of working with the spirits (mine and others') and wow wow do I get TIIIIRED. But when I'm doing spell work most of the time I'm pretty okay. I only get tired if I'm doing a lot of working with spirits at the time. I struggle with belief in myself. It's a problem of growing up with undiagnosed ADHD. You "learn" that you're a fuckup and you're not good at anything. I'm kicking that shit to the curb, but I still struggle with it. Hahaha! My hashtag witchy aesthetic is all the skulls I have in my front room. My ancestor altar is on our mantel in the living room. And wow the number of skulls we have. Real ones, imitation ones, cutsey ones, serious ones, painted on ones, ceramic ones… skulls skulls skulls. We may like to get anything we buy to decorate the house during Halloween. 😝 Also, thanks for the ADHD example. That puts it very much into perspective what you're trying to explain. ❤️ I like the morals and ethics alignment line that you draw. That's a very nice addition. Something to consider. I've met witches that will only do spells because they got them from a book. They dont feel confident in crafting their own spells their own way... I have a friend who got upset because she did a spell, and shortly after she cried all the time and worried. She claimed she did it wrong, and in doing so kept putting the negativity out into the World working against everything she had done. The issue was that she didnt connect with the spell. She was using the ingredients and directions from another, without question. She couldnt understand that as long as you know your correspondences (even just the bare bone basics), you can craft your own spells, making it so it resonates with you. Many witches dont understand that these spells they get from a book are okay, but it doesnt hurt to mix it up, make it your own, or even create your own. This is witchcraft. We can craft any energy we want to manifest what what we are asking for.
I've been more of a hands on practitioner. Sometimes people are so out of it afterwards, they put their clothes on inside out. Love your accent, love your energy! BB💗

I loved this video. I often work when tired, I have depression so I do not often feel all that fresh so if I did not work also when feeling pooped I would never cast spells. Cat sayings, my mother's friend always say about things that go up and down like for example the price of apples, or one's health an so on that it go up and down like sour milk in a kitten. :P

Scripted spells never manifest for me!! I am a spontaneous witch through and through! That’s being said If I know I’m going to do a spell soon, I’ll make a lists of what I need for the spell, and make sure I have all my tools with me for the spell. Though I never script my chants/written/verbal portions of the spell!

Yesss, I feel more called to ALL spiritual work in the colder and darker months. I do feel that I am basically doing the same amount of work in the summer but it manifests differently.. I am just finishing up your Trainee Tarot course and I have started watching some of your other videos. I have been trying to figure out why I resonated so much with the Trainee videos and slightly less with this video. I think it's because during the tarot course you showed the card you were talking about which made it very concrete and I could understand what you were talking about. In this video you don't show or demonstrate what you are talking about when it comes to spells and it all seems a little bit vague to me. Is there any chance you could use some realia (such as your stones from Wales), or actually demonstrate how you preform a spell? I think I can only get so far just listening to you discuss and describe things, please show us what you do, I'm very curious!

I wonder if you could talk about conjuring up a feeling for manifestation for a spell. I hear how important that is, and sometimes I find it very challenging to conjure up feeling or emotion.

I definitely use music to uplift or express where I am or what I am currently feeling, but I will play with intentional mood assisting music.

I loved this video. I often work when tired, I have depression so I do not often feel all that fresh so if I did not work also when feeling pooped I would never cast spells.

Scripted spells never manifest for me!! I am a spontaneous witch through and through! That’s being said If I know I’m going to do a spell soon, I’ll make a lists of what I need for the spell, and make sure I have all my tools with me for the spell. Though I never script my chants/written/verbal portions of the spell!

Yesss, I feel more called to ALL spiritual work in the colder and darker months. I do feel that I am basically doing the same amount of work in the summer but it manifests differently.. It is out in the world more rather than being so intensely altar focused and planned.. You are not alone. Lots of witches are this way. :) x
I am just finishing up your Trainee Tarot course and I have started watching some of your other videos. I have been trying to figure out why I resonated so much with the Trainee videos and slightly less with this video. I think it's because during the tarot course you showed the card you were talking about which made it very concrete and I could understand what you were talking about. In this video you don't show or demonstrate what you are talking about when it comes to spells and it all seems a little bit vague to me. Is there any chance you could use some realia (such as your stones from Wales), or actually demonstrate how you preform a spell? I think I can only get so far just listening to you discuss and describe things, please show us what you do, I'm very curious!
