The short and long victory conditions set for him seem to follow his journey as described in the Throne of Chaos book. So that must be why Goldtooth is put on the short victory conditions.
Indeed. Somebody put the map of his path in the book on the TWW forum. medias.community.creative-assembly.com/forums/lordsolarmach-5538/TamurkhansRouteTWW-1.jpg
Honestly, I 100% agree about the nurglings thing. I also feel Chaos warriors should always have access to a basic marauder unit, if you're getting rolled as them, you're just done.
There was a video where he tried so hard to say it right, I think it was warriors of chaos campaign 😂😂 poor uncle Monsters tried 3 times bruh, but bad habits never die. Azerbaijan it is😂
Awesome video. Some clarification, the reason behind the SCW conditions, are due to Thamukhan's storyline from the Thrones of Chaos book. In short, he conquers several chaos/norscan factions around Zanbaijin, travels south through the mountains of mourn, where he acquires the Ogre body he has in game. Later on he ends up fighting Astrogoth's faction, earning the Chorfs respect and stricking a deal with them, in return for their weaponry and warriors, he'll acquire slaves and material for their forges. They end up conquring their way towards the territories of the borderprinces, into Sulland and ends up laying siege to Nuln, where he's defeated :(
Man that intro is really really cool you could say it puts a plague on you( I’m srry that’s Probaly the worst joke I’ve ever even thought of). Poor Khorne and Slannesh lovers, imagine having to wait. Actually slannesh is Probaly the last to get a dlc just because they are actually pretty fun to play as( and have really great machanics). Not to mention most of the things they introduced with shadows of change would be great for khorne. Glorious charge and silence magic being great examples and fit khorne thematically and lore wise. idk if being able to silence magic characters is lore accurate but then again we have croxigors leading armies so who cares.
22:00 what would you say to Grasssmasher you don't want to say to them "Go Touch Grass"? I now got images popping in my head, thanks to my imagination.
Finally the Maggot Lord, I'm a bit late to the party but this is gonna be awesome, the rework on the Nurgle mechanics including the plagues and the new units plus chieftains are all damn good
My two favorite things in the whole game: Nurgle (WITH improved economy) and Dreadquake Mortars. This is the BEST faction in the entire game and, to everyone's surprise, CA actually did a good job with this expansion. Hooray.
The reason you have to go to Greasus is they're trying to emulate the path he took in the Games Workshop book. He went south through Mountains of Mourn, then west recruiting Drazhoath, getting attacked by Greenskins, etc. and eventually crossing into the south-eastern border of the Empire destroying Pfeildorf and eventually being defeated at Nuln.
I too enjoy the ogres other than the greenskins. Nurgle is cool too. I miss this game so much. I would be playing it a lot more if i had a computer to play with.
I think a good idea for military buildings with nurgle is the cycle starts at your settlement level. So if you build the build at tier 5 you get tier 5 units quicker
For the longest time i have difficulty with who's my favorite third chaos god but i think its safe to say that nurgle is now officially my third favorite
There probably will be Nurgotaurs/Pestitaurs and Plaguebulls (Doombulls of Nurgle) only when there is a Warherd of the Gods DLC for the Beastmen. I could be very wrong about that though...
Not sure if it has been mentioned. But the reason for the long objective victory is because that is the route Tamurkhan did in lore. He made allies with the Chaos Dwarfs while raiding any other villages of anyone along the way. Then they marched through border prince territory. I believe then through blackfire pass and went straight to Nuln with their allied chaos Dwarfs marching alongside and not with for obvious reasons 😂🤢🤮 It ultimately failed and Nuln defeated them barely. Chaos Dwarfs marched back better off with plunder, slaves, and gold since they normally conduct warfare with long range seige warfare. Thusly they didn't lose as many troops
I haven't played Warhammer III for a while now, and I didn't realise that there was even a new dlc. However, when I loaded up the game, it said I had new content available, and when I clicked on it it showed me that I had thrones of decay unlocked. I checked the Steam Store and I haven't bought the dlc, should I speak to Steam support or just leave it and play Helldivers 2 instead?
He's a fimir basically a Millennia ago. There were these semi amphibious chaos worshipers that were abandoned by the dark gods and now hang out with the norscans cause they both hate the empire
I wasn't referring to anything you really said in the video. Just a statement of playing him over any other Nurgle lord. Been enjoying the playthroughs while waiting till I can play next week. Really hope the infections are fixed before launch!
the actual reason is that our boy narrator is now 87, and took his retirement something like last year ? Basically when warriors of chaos happened/ He's now just happily retired old fella.
The nurgle recruitment system is very bad. I found that the best method is to buy 0 millitary buildings and just go for heros + special units. The campaign is over before you get value from the millitary buildings.
Who’s “tamuh-kurn”, MAb? It’s not like he doesn’t say his own name out loud every time you click on him. Also, why would you go from a Nurgle campaign directly into another Nurgle campaign?
@@thyrussendria8198 Yeah great. Waiting 6-12 weeks for a campaign that is actually interesting is wonderful. I don’t care if it’s his favourite god, running two campaigns at the same time which have major overlap just exhausts the content and viewer attention. It would’ve been smarter to leave either Epidemius or Tamurkhan for later and space out all the Nurgle.
What’s worse than finding Kholek? Finding out you’re already at war with Kholek.
Just the wooooorst
Let Grandfather have a word
I like how MonstersAbound didn't shower for an entire month in prepration for this campaign.
That's some real dedication!
I've also been subsisting only on the cheese that grows between my toes
No no, you have to shower in your own sweat, that's the rules

I'm going to miss the old narrator dude where MonstersAbound was always like "Go on, back in your box you creepy old bastard"
Poor Boris another legendary lord that wants to kick his head in right next to him Kind of sad actually
Well if he will go around existing in the Chaos Wastes...
Well Boris wants to be a tough guy😂
i really like the narrator at the start of the campaigns, she does an amazing job setting the mood
Huzzah the new nurgle campaign I've been looking forward to. I've held off seeing other nurgle content to enjoy it by watching you

So many fun units to play with, interested to see some fun combos.

Ah yes the famous northern wastes of Causcas mountains - Plains of Azerbaijan
Nurgle minotaurs would be… Vine-otaurs?
Grime-otaurs?
@crapaudbiscornu7941those and sugmataurs both serve Slanesh
Uncle Monsters I am so happy you got to play 2 nurgle campaigns at the same time 😊
Basically living my best life

Atleast the attempt on the joke was rather 'sick' given the theme 😄
So fun fact, nearly all of the tamurkhan book is on the Warhammer fantasy wiki page
You need to cut in a "You son of a bitch, I'm in!" Every time you recruit another member of the ol' heist to kill the world crew.
22:00 what would you say to Grasssmasher you don't want to say to them "Go Touch Grass"?

lets go tamurkhan
@MonstersAbound As for all the flying rocks, where do you think all of the Comets of Cassendora come from, eh?

Battle against Kholek begins with 13 minutes already on the clock, absolute mystery how that happened honestly.
Every time you say fecundity Monsters, it makes father Jack from Father Ted pop into my head saying his well known word lol.

Can I suggest “Maligna-taurs” for Nergal?
Tamurkhan is difficult to look at, 10/10
He is a rough wank but, from personal experience, it can be done
My headcanon is that one of the developers on this DLC is a huge Monsters Abound fan and Monstrous Abundance is meant to be a tribute to our boy.
Absolutely not sure if that is the case but like the idea it got snuck in
Does Tamurkhan start with warriors of Nurgle even if you don't own the champions of chaos dlc?
Good question
Someone said they don't like look of the rot knights. Seriously! There beautiful and look perfectly nurgle. People 😡
I don´t like them but it´s because I am a Storm of Chaos fan...the color theme that are using for them is too shinny and too green in my opinion
@tunencio7288 oh I see. I started in warhammer 3 so I'm not a "purest"
Fealty is pronounced “Feel-tea” that's a good way to remember
Whooooo! Excited for this.
Forgot that even though he’s a mortal he’s a nurgle lord. So you could confederate epidemius and ku’gath.

No military buildings lol, but im sure itll be fine
My statement is retracted, obviously you had it all planned out for later 😶
Ketzak like what is he supposed to be from like what faction cause to me he looks like a tzeench demon turned burgle somehow

a real Nurgirl boss
The worst part of playing Tamurkhan is that you can't get Tamurkhan's defeat trait.
Errrr... I meant "Clean" as in... covered in plague...?

Pestaurs?
Wow
Pretty sure he gets rekt at Nuln in lore
huh, the narrator changed. I wonder why they got of the old man, he was pretty iconic for this series
Arrested for hanging around schools prolly

Not to be a wise-ass but fealty is pronounced more like feelty. Not sure if you are doing it for comedic purpouse. Otherwise rocking video.
That annoyed me to but i think MA did it on purpose he does like all the evil factions after all
i dont mean to be that guy but fealty was pronounced wrong not a big thing but ea in fealty is pronounced like the ee in feel
The new advisor voice sucks compared to the old. It's like going from British Spaced to American Spaced.
