- Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State was recorded on telephone asking officials INEC to rig election for his candidates in the recently concluded Rivers legislative rerun elections.
In one instance where one of the officials wasn't doing his bidding, he threatened to kill him. Listen to the chilling conversations
The audio proves a lot if matched with a voice recognition, voice matching, investigative and forensic software.This kind of leadership is not what the people of the state and country are asking for at large. Invariably, INEC have not been conducting its electoral duties adequately without the elements of bribery and corruption. The challenge I see here as a nation is that we have a people problem and a system decay problem where those in power see themselves as the Almighty and dictates their wishes for the people and afterwards come to the public space to lie to its citizens.
Shame on the nation Nigeria.

What's more disappointing is the respose to this audio clip. People willing to deny any possible authenticity of the clip. Obviously more evidence can validate this expoure, but some people will stil deny it really happened, no matter what.
EXACTLY there is a possibility that the said audio could be fake ot true but people dont even want to look into the possible option that this could be true because they just hate what a true audio could imply

Considering the spontaneity and display of power in the audio, it is sad to think that some people think that others who believe that this really happened are sub-intelligent. Even if you doubt this (pending veracity), why not wait, and just express your opinion??
