You got full marks for showing the right map of INDIA 🇮🇳
Wow!... People inside an Ivy League university talking about India for 1.5 hours straight without any propaganda!!!... That's interesting...
Because Modi isn't involved here.
Earth is majestic and precious. Love and respect from US
This was the same nsa - shivshankar menon who did not act against Pakistan after 26/11 mumbai attack - Shameless and spineless.
You guys got the Indian map right at 1:32 ... but then f_ⓒked it up just after more than 30 seconds at 2:04 ‼You can't show Indian territory as Pakistani! The least you had to do was to ensure the map you use shows the disputed territory of POJK (POK) as disputed like you have for Aksai Chin! You can't expect better relations with India until you actively support it's territorial integrity against Pakistan and China!
Pannu is new son in law of USA
There are two rules in geopolitics
1. Never trust usa
2. Never forget rule no. 1
This is a childish take. Each and every country follows it's self interest and the US does the same. The simple fact is that the US didn't see India in their self interest and right now they do. In the future they might not. We have to be smart and use our diplomacy correctly.
I came to watch just because of Mr. Garcetti, he have little differences with us Indians but he’s good man trying to do better for India. I hope he makes our relation more fruitful then now before leaving.
😂Trust and America seriously

USA took 365° turn on India after Russia's support 😂😂
Hoover hit another out of the park. This talk gives deep insight into friendships which can last despite changes in elections and hope we will be India's friend for many years.
Ambassador Garceti made a very important point of smaller nuclear plants that has the potential to change the entire climate action.
Such a fascinating discussion. I am so happy to have listened it. Thank you all. Namaste.
Such a enlightening session... thanks guys.❤
It's a good partnership of democracies.
Brilliant. The only surprise is that such a discussion between the world’s oldest and the largest had to wait this long and this infrequently to take place. Thank you Hoover for initiating this step🙏🏼
Wow!! Indirectly promoting and praising the congress govt. and especially sonia gandhi(maino) 🙄. Old habits of USA 😡. And posturing the american president as some kind of god who cannot be neglected 🤔. Still "Aayega Toh Modi Hi" 😳💪🇮🇳💪
Dr. Rice is a very formidable lady!
45 min Ms Gandhi was in power then 😅. It's good we got rid of her
Awesome discussion
Great session
🇮🇳🇺🇸💐🇮🇳🇺🇸
Thanks for this informative session. Future looks bright for India and US.
No matter how 'fruitful' the India and USA relationship is...
IT all hinges on India delivering KALM to the USA as Australia assured the USA it can and will.
I am conscripted to India as a Soldier of Australia to make sure India delivers on this as Australia assured the USA it can and will ASAP.
Of hugh importance!
As much as the US has a self-conceited view of her contribution to India's coming of age, it can't be further from the truth. The fact remains that India's dynamism in her national purpose, human potential, economic, technology, knowledge and military sectors was fuelling her rise. Besides, India already had partnership of Russia in the development and progress of nuclear technology, as well as military technology. The US was clearly being left behind in her relationship with a rising power, and a democratic one at that. However, despite the civil nuclear deal and narratives of trust, it remains clear that trust is a deficit. It's obvious that respect opens the door to trust, and trust reinforces respect. But, the US has never shown respect to India, her territorial and national integrity nor her committment to democracy and development. The US has shown more respect and trust for the ambitions and needs of a Dictatorship as opposed to a historically proven pacifist civilisation. This proves the mantle and soul of the US as a global hegemony that would corral or strike down any rising power, peaceful or not. Nations are often reminded that 'being the US's friend is fatal' as other countries have found to their detriment.
What did you mean by Chatham house
All must understand that Indis a great country but is not a true friend of United States. India is very adept at playing other countries against each other and dealing with whatever is strictly in Indias interests.
And your country works for other country interest and not your own?? And whats true for your country and all other sovereign countries, that is your argument, will work for its own interest, how many times have you protested complaining your country in working for its own interest and not others countries?? Sound ridiculous, it should. The only reason you might have said that earlier, is consciously or unconsciously you have colonial mindset, nothing else can explains it, most likely a superiority complex as well, the future of tomorrow your country will needs friends, to even or tip the scales, and sorry to say thats not how you win friends. And trust me a time will come in future maybe 10-15 years from now when expansionist powers will flex, and semi colonies/allies wont alone suffice you will need the friends thats India, that is provided if trust deficit can be bridged and not expanded by shallow mindset people.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
A very important partnership!
Telling two Far Lefties in Eric Garcetti and MK Narayanan are invited.
USA should realise early..
Only pannu create good relations with india 🇮🇳.. pannu is assest for usa 🇺🇸
India have to make this deal a successful one and climb dwn from the high horse of civil nuclear liability.
Ambassador Eric Garcetti's balanced perspective of India's Foreign Policy Choices provides a healthy dose of realism - much required by the US FP establishment when it comes to navigating bilateral relations with India.
Thank you Madam Rice and President Bush. The US-INDIA nuclear deal will be consider in the history a step towards mankind.
Great insight into how the civilian nuclear deal took place on 2000s.
CAMNNOT TRUST PEOPLE WHO HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF HISTORY
Good session
Good insights
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh deserves a Bharat Ratna for this deal.
There is no South Asia only Indian subcontinent
🇮🇳🤝🇷🇺☸️
Sovereignty is a little price we paid for better relations with US. What a national shame!
