Hello heroes! Please tell us how many catheters must be placed during Aqua Beam surgery? I heard that it is mandatory to have two urinary catheters, one in the abdomen through the bladder and one catheter through the bladder. Can only one catheter indications 3-way be used during Aqua Beam surgery?
@@bobbender5858 Well, it's been quite an adventure. His outpatient procedure turned into a 2 day hospital stay due to bleeding. After he was discharged, he was readmitted via ambulance due to shortness of breath. Going off the Coumadin caused him to have blood clots in both lungs. After yet another few days in the hospital, he was put on Xeralto. He is doing much better now. The procedure itself did help him a little bit so there's that. Thanks for asking.
@@B-ch6uk ..It sounds like what really made it an episode was the inclusion of Coumadin in the mix. Glad to hear the worst seems to be behind him. How long did he have a catheter in after leaving the hospital??..Also, just curious, what part of the country do you live??
@@sirus312 He's fine now. He does think the procedure helped him a little. It was an ordeal mostly because of the blood thinner he was on but he loves taking the Xeralto now. Just wish it wasn't so expensive.

Aquablation will be the gold standard for BPH!!!
How do you know? Is this just doctor's trying to sell their procedure who have a vested interest. We need testimonials and there are not too many.
My husband is getting this procedure in a few weeks but he is on Coumadin. Should we be worried since you did mention something about that?
