There's a seal on the back of the drum, when you pump grease into the fitting and it comes out that hole, it's forced forward and will come out of the front bearing completely filling that cavity between the two bearings and push out the bearings. You pump grease into it until you see it forced out the front bearing, spinning the drum as you go. However if that seal fails and you don't see grease at the front bearing after a bout 10 pumps, pull the drum and make sure you didn't fill the drum with grease.
Thanks for watching! Yes that was my point. 10 pumps would not have filled that cavity. But also applying grease in the area of a bearing doesn’t pack it either. If you noticed my inner bearing was packed and the outer was dry.
