ICE ICE baby! I'll stay away from EVs for now. Once my current paid off car dies, I'll get another Japanese ISE car. Went thru Costco 7 yrs ago when I got my current car. It was great.
This guy is way off; real estate is anything but transparent, hence the lawsuit. Leasing is terrible for value vehicles such as Toyota, Honda, Subaru. Leasing is best with vehicles that depreciate quickly in the first three years and have high maintenance costs; think Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Lincoln, etc. If you want the best value, buy a Toyota! You may overpay a bit up front compared to the competition but it will last a lot longer. Nothing he said, is news to me. I purchased a brand new 2013 Corolla and 2022 Prius right before they were redesigned. In both cases I bought them on a rainy day. One I got right after Christmas. In both case, rate was less than 3%. Most EVs are a great deal right now. If you have a way to charge at home, get one. If you finance a Toyota at 9% right now, it will take a lot longer for you to break even and you should pay cash if possible or pay it off ASAP. The best way to sell a vehicle is to post it on FB Marketplace, Craigslist, or park it in a highly trafficked area with a for sale sign. Do your homework before selling (I.e check market rates on KBB and TrueCar).

Great episode, love hearing how this industry works. One suggestion: stay away from Jeeps 😅
