I think the Saints played better football for much of the game. We gave a free touchdown in a fluke on special teams. It happens. It even almost happened in the superbowl. The important thing is we still looked functional and maybe even better despite the injuries. Flukes like that happen, but they should be rare. I actually feel a little better about the season compared with last week. Though I hate losing to the Falcons, the people of Atlanta could use something to pick up their mood after that hurricane [we Saints fans know what that's like].

KLINT WAS NOT FINE Play calling in the first half by run committing on every day play is so annoying to watch we run 61% of the time. So many screen and short throw also caused that pick 6. The offense play call has to get better.
Some of you are absolutely insane and ridiculous to blame this man for the loss. Many things contributed to this loss, albeit his PI did not help and just put the nail in the coffin. But, Adebo is one of the best #2s in the league. Your gonna be sorry when he's gone much less begging him to not start anymore over kool-aid. Great players make bad mistakes. It was barely PI to begin with. The throw was short and the WR came back to the ball initiating the illegal contact. BS really. If Mathieu is behind him on that shot, probably plays it differently
i think that we should just trust in the team and see what happens next week.. we have injuries but we can still win the next 6-7 games🤷🏽♂️We never know
All the Carr hate from the “fans” really irks me. Bro led us to TWO almost game winning drives at the end, and our defense let us down both time. It’s not all on the defense either but damn… they look for ANY reason to hate on Carr. Still don’t think the season is over but damn were these 2 games we needed before the bucs and chiefs..

Prior to the season looking at the schedule most thought we’d be 2-3 right now. Given the fact of how beat up we are as a team I feel really good where this team is heading in the future. I still see a 10 win season

Carr didn’t look terrible played probably a B- game. Interception was flukey and unlucky. Running to the right all game was terrible. Muffed punt is really what killed us to start the game. Very unlucky and unlikely was to loose a game… crazy

It’s the same old Saints, we can’t win close games, it’s been like this for years, I’m used to it, get a lead and always lose it on a last second field goal or touchdown, we are just an ok team, I pray that we can win half our games this year

This was a heartbreaker man. Every NFL fan knows a heartbreaker, when they see it. one minute you're cheering for your team because they got a touchdown. The next minute, you're saying a bunch of curse words, because we got a defensive penalty.

Without question, this was a winnable game but I'm not totally upset with this loss. I believe we are a good team and very competitve, not like the fraudulent competitors we were last year. The offense did well, could have been better but they were good. The defense did their job again and not allowing TDs. The only thing I didn't like was the turnovers and penalties because if Shaheed doesn't muff the punt, Carr doesn't throw the pick and Adebo doesn't interfere, we win the game. The coaching wasn't the problem and not even DA's fault.
That pick was tipped at the line of scrimmage. Not completely on Carr.
Last year we were 2-2, this year 2-2.

@@geoffhoutman1557 did you see how we performed last year in those first four games. It was way worse and as I said, last year, we looked very fraudulent, especially as competitors. This year, we look better competitive, our offense is better because of Kubiak and our defense remains consistently good.

Things I learned from this game:
-Shaheed should be benched from punt returns until he starts making wise decisions
-Trevor Penning and the O line did great
-We still have a top 10 defense
-DA should be pissed with our tackling ability this game (every Tyler Allegier run)
-Kamara needs a contract extension bad
2 plays/3 point loss last week, 3 plays/2 point loss this week...5 points and literally just over 2 minutes of play from being the most unlikely 4-0 team in the league!! I would rather they killed us than to lose like that to those clowns!!
I’ve noticed a trend they are now calling more PI on last minute drives; Bengals Chiefs old days they would let them play on final drive and make offense earn it! They make this call but missed a wayyyyy more obvious call in NFC championship game against Rams! 😮
I'm just so tired of hearing people say Carr is a mid tier QB. He is Mid Tier QB at his BEST. On average he awful a big dummy. They dumbed the offense down and he still sucks. He had olave wide open in the zone in the 4th and threw it to shaheed. For what to cheer his buddy up after muffing a punt? Stupidity breeds stupidity . Another loss coming in front the world. Well earlier this year before the first game I did predict the saints to go 6-11 with injuries included. I was happy when we went 2-0 . I was so happy to be wrong. We have a crappy head coach who vouched for a mediocre QB ....lost 3. Starters on the line and replaced them with garbage. We still don't have a decent TE after how many years for a QB that uses and need a good TE. And the QB sucks to missed olave running wide open to the end zone threw the ball to shaheed on the play. So many bad decisions
My problem isn’t going for it, I love shaheed but my problem is I feel like Carr looks for shaheed first in 1 on 1 situations where we need a play made but that’s where I feel like he should be going to olave. Like that 4th down in the redzone he knew it was zero coverage we had Juwan 6’4 match up on the safety and olave our #1 and he goes to shaheed 🤦🏽♂️

The hype train on the play calling from week 1 and 2 is officially derailed. If Hill is out, they need to have 2RB options with Prentice or Williams that can be effective.
That they lost on the road by 2 in a division game with SO many injuries...I can't complain.

I think Shaheeds WR instincts took over on that boneheaded return play. As a return man, obviously you know you should do there, but, as a WR you twist your body as oddly as you can to try to make a catch at all costs. That's what I believe happened there. He just brain-farted and forgot what role he was supposed to be playing. Still unfortunate, don't get me wrong.
Im a falcons fan to my bones (well former) but when are people goin to realize that all major sports are scripted. There r plays that aren't rigged but the outcome is always rigged. My team won and i still cant enjoy it cause i know its just a distraction
For a Dennis Allen lead team to be successful, every game must go perfect start to finish. Any setback,hiccup, or injury and adjustments need to be made Allen not built for that. The first 2 games are perfect ex of this.
i blame this loss purely on the offense. yes they scored some points with taysom BUT they are directly responsible for the 2 TDs gifts that the Falcons got thanks to Carr and Rashid. speaking of Rashid something is up with him in these last 2 games and its not about being double teamed either. he seem not to be as focused while dropping balls he normally would catch.

Love your videos man! I listen to you all the time. I really enjoyed the 4th down decision bot segment. As fans, we can get so emotional and invested on what we should’ve done in hindsight. Analytics helps us in those decisions in knowing we made the correct one that gives us the best chance to win. It’s important to make winning decisions, even if it doesn’t pan out in a win. We beat ourselves that game but I am not on the fire Allen or Klint train.

Outplayed the falcons, 2 fluke plays and atlantas kicker scoring a career longest fg. Saints played really well given how they are ripped with injuries. Only lost this one to really really bad luck.
I don't see him making them play the whole field anymore. It was predictable the way it was going to play out, why didn't they not go into prevent defense.
I think they make it all look real, but they are scripted for entertainment. They keep us addicted by the athernaline rush of the challenge. But it's all scripted and controlled.

Any time Saints defense has to go and close a game out they wet the bed. They can play great all game but 4th quarter is always a different story
What did DA do you ask? I would say why keep playing man to man in a situation where you have to get one more defensive stand. Paulson Adebo wasn't horrible and he did get a interception but he was getting abused most of the day because they did not test Marshon much. Give your man some help and play some other coverage in that situation. Some type of prevent why man to man.
