  • I'm still waiting on the highbanker mats to arrive in the mail before I get to editing the final gold mining trip of 2023, in the mean time, here is a video of Chris making some deep fried churros during our final camping trip of the season!
We used the Bluetti EB70s to deep fry a whole batch of churros while out on the river in the middle of nowhere! it was even near freezing temperatures and the portable power station was still able to finish the job! We are definitely living in the future :)
Here is a link where you can buy a Bluetti EB70s: bit.ly/44OrrSy
    Thanks for watching!

Ah nature, the calm of the water, the chill of the air, the sizzle of an electric deep fryer. This is what camping is all about, just the bare essentials.

When in Oz, consider watching out for neighboring osmidium (osmium + iridium). I hear it gets your attention.

This is my kind of gold mining. Profits be damned. If a trip has churros that’s an automatic win.

Glad you guys got out together 👊 Is Chris going to manufacture for you? Or are you taking all your equipment with you to AU? Super excited for you! 🎉

The only thing I brought to Australia is what I could fit in two suitcases. Chris is fully capable of all the manufacturing back in Canada should he choose to do so. We will see how things go in time...

Nothing better eating golden nuggets in below freezing weather . Doing the electric thing something different . reminds me of a eco miner I seen on you tube . Had an electric pump that was run with a gas drive generator . Hmm imagen that 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Freaks me out to see that frying pot filled with hot oil balancing on the edge of that box. One small mishap where it accidentally falls to the ground and it may splash boiling hot oil in your face / eyes. Come on Kyle? You know better than this? Always let it sit as low as possible to prevent the chance of a big splashback should it fall.

Behind the scenes we made sure to have the local Occupational Health and Safety OH&S Organization come by to certify that the cooler was a safe and stable food-safe surface prior to beginning the cooking segment of this film. As a carpenter I made sure it was stable and level. It was as safe as any other home counter surface where the device was intended to be used. At Utmost Outdoors we take health and safety seriously.

@@UtmostOutdoors Okay - we (your viewers) had an internet meeting and we were just about ready so send a formal complaint to youtube. But seeing your explanation we forgive you (this time). But please be careful. I got burnt badly as a child with burning tar covering my right wrist and know a thing or two about burn damages. But I was lucky! (I played with a burning used can of tar on a stick and it dripped on my wrist - but it could just as well had dripped in my face / eyes - so I consider myself ultra lucky).

Ouch! That sounds like a horrible thing to experience! I'm glad your face and eyes made it out OK!

I hate to be a stickler, but those look like ~two inch churros, not the one inch Chris asked you to cut. Just saying.

I like to push the limits! Definitely took some big risks there, but in the end I got away with it! :)
