- Today it's time for the February 2021 Bullet Journal Plan With Me video! In this monthly theme, we're taking a trip to a Masquerade Ball and setting up this festive and glamorous layout. I wanted to focus more on drawing this month, and all the decorations are created directly to the bullet journal (no watercolor paper required ^^).
This theme was definitely one of the most different ones for me, and it took some time for me to get used to it. I'm not completely sure what it was, but I surely had so much fun creating all these different patterns and drawings, and eventually, the style started to really grow on me. I hope you get a lot of new ideas from this February bullet journal plan with me, whether it's in terms of decorations, self-reflection, or monthly planning!

I love to see you step outside of your normal comfort zone for this theme! That model with the dress is so beautifully done, you were too hard on yourself about her proportions, it looked just like a fashion designer's illustration!!

I thought it was a Mardi Gras theme. I went to New Orleans on a business in Feb a very long time ago. Some of my co-workers were staying over an extra night and I didn't know why, because Mardi Gras started the next day, when I was leaving. Boo hooo I never got to go and now it's too regulated so it wouldn't be as much fun.

AMAZING setup and the weekly idea with the Dutch door is so simple and time saving, I'm surprised I've never seen it before or thought if it myself haha. The masquerade theme is so fitting for February because of the Italian Carnivale, and the French Canadian Carnival (idk about other places I'm sorry)! We used to celebrate both of these at my elementary school growing up and it was always one of the best times of the year! We had a big dance in the gymnasium and everyone made their own masks!

All the patterns, the masks, the dress, omg the dress (I use to draw dresses all the time when I was younger). Haha maybe I could do a video of the whole alphabet, it'd be a fun video to film, but I have some other videos planned before that so it'd need to wait a little bit... But I might do it sooner or later! ☺️ And if you need help before that, you can find a lot of full alphabets like this from the internet by searching "victorian font", that's what I used as my guide too ☺️

I can't remember which youtuber used it recently but they use an oil based gold pen so that they can go directly over it with any water based pen or paint. So when you are doing gold surrounded by a colour or black you don't have to paint around it. I've bought a gold, white and silver which I'm going to try out. The pen is Sakura - Pen-Touch Paint Marker

Absolutely gorgeous and was really thinking I would emulate it, as I am also that kind of... maybe less practical, more pretty bullet journaler haha, and I don't mind spending some time doing arty decorations and drawings. But tbh even for me this is all a bit much to reproduce, I don't have this patience, so I'll just admire you doing it.
