    Clearly a man of taste

The world loses a lot when someone with enormous culture and good taste leaves. It's as if we said goodbye to the Renaissance and fell into limbo. Men like this don't make wars, they build Civilization.

Then let us climb up from out of limbo holding intact the Renaissance he had built within us. In this way, he is still here. So then having taste and culture is an adopted child, a responsibility that would die without such civility to nurture it.

Extremely impressive art collection...It merely lacks a Faberge egg. 😉

Putting things from different periods and centuries next to each other haphazardly because wild juxtapositions are trendy these days does not constitute good taste.

When money is never a problem...

Problems have nothing to do with money. They have to do with the tendency for excuses and the arrogance of lacking appreciation for what we have. And why would God give to any who don't see what they've already been given? Would you give something to someone who would forget it keeping it stored away in the back of a storage? Or wouldn't you rather give that something to the person who would appreciate it the most

Not everything we get in life is from God but it does not help our prayers to afterwards envy others by God's grace upon them as Cain did towards Able. We should celebrate others blessings for them as well, and at least aim for joy, and away from dismissiveness.
