The more I face my fears, the weaker they become.
Don't let fear hold you back from what you truly want to become.

Thanks for this video! It's important to remember that our fears can only motivate us in the long sun and it's okay to be scared. Living full out is all about making a genuine effort!

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my UA-cam channel 2 months ago about self development and now have more than 100 subs and almost 70 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so much lessons that I couldn’t have learned without getting started in the 1st place

Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.
Face the thing you are afraid of, then you will realize its not the thing that is fearful, its you who is fearful and dangerous

Good old Jocko. It is easy to engage in things that are a given. And it is easy to keep doing what you are already good at. This is what I tell my own subscribers as well--The guts come from taking on the unknown. Knowing others may ridicule you for trying when they don't have the sand to step into that arena where the outcome is unknown. The ones who excel are willing to be afraid and also willing to be the storm instead of succumbing to it. There is a more pertinent point. Maybe climbing Mt Everest has nothing to do with your job. Or stepping into that octagon one time after a year of training. Or doing a Tough Mudder. BUT--by making yourself uncomfortable, by facing fear and by driving forward into that dark abyss is where you grow. And you will carry that over into your career or whatever else you want to achieve. Hope that helps someone out there---Charles

I have OCD and i found out that the inly way to overcome it is to face your fear. I'm planning on doing that, but it's hard. :(

Hi Chispa, been watching your videos for a while now and I absolutely adore them. I just wanted to ask something: is there anyway you can upload the 'Start from nothing" video on Soundcloud or some other site and put the link to it somewhere? That video was my favorite and I was sad to see it go before I could download it. Thank you in advance!

I’ve been struggling for years to ask out a woman because of my fear of rejection. I’ve been single for 6 years now, and have never mustered the courage to ask out a woman I like.
Next Tuesday I’ll step. I’ll ask out my co-worker that I secretly have a crush on.
    Wish me luck.

A little late, but how did it go?
I have the same problem. I'm crushing hard on this girl I met at the gym last winter. But I can't find the balls to ask her out. I'm terrified of doing it. It's not that I fear she will reject me, I already know she will. But I can't make myself take that step. Even today, I saw her at the bar she works at that is near our gym. I was leaving the gym and going home and she was there, throwing away some garbage I think. I could have stopped, say hello and ask her out. Instead I went straight on my way home, feeling awful and like I'm useless piece of shit. Then I decided to go for a walk and to pass in front of the bar again, to see if I could make it this time. She was there again, cleaning a table outside. And again I was overwhelmed by fear and ignored her instead of going over there and say hi. I'm stunned right now, I just want this feeling of helplessness to end

I have a fear of driving a moped . I was studying today and suddenly the thought of riding my scooter came to my mind and I started to have heavy heart beats and heavy breathing
Then I thought to myself enough is enough I will ride my scooter today .
    And I did
    Fight the fear

You gonna say, oh, step, thats it. Dont make sense. Dont tells me nothing. But youre wrong. The same that haopened to me. Same thing, different area.
I have or had a terrible ocd. I tried to of* myself. The therapist told me dont think, do. I didnt really understood it. So i left the therapist for a year. Then i tried to of myslef. Then i realised he was right, that was the only way. Literrally i had to do what this video says. Now i am happy i feel good. THIS saved my life. I could not be here now.
So try to understand this, step, dont think.

I've learnt over almost 60 years that staying in my comfort zone and avoiding anything that I fear is always, and I mean always, the best course of action.
