My uncle Andrew and aunte Margrette owned the sweet shop in town for many years. I was born there in 1956 at around 10 years old I spent many wonderful weekend afternoons stroking the great dane in the Three Horse Shoes while my dad played darts in the tap room. I remember the stone floor had a depression in it where the dart throwers over the many years played from. I also remember going fishing with my uncle Guy who tought me how to operate the fire enginess he was the towns fire chief. My uncle Fred and Aunt Joan taught me how to fish in the river. What memories please don't change Boroughbridge your Amazing.
