I remember watching you like 5 years ago and how i was impressed by your work. I even commented in some of your videos and you replied it. Its so good to see you improve. Dont give up on your passion brother.
Hey, thank you for saying so. Really appreciate comments like this, knowing some of you have been around so long and continue to watch the creations come to life.
Tell me, if I were to "mix it up", i.e. make more videos, on here or my second channel, what sorts of content would you think would be suitable? I've been thinking a long while of what to do to generate more interest and put up more vids without getting sidetracked with them and not sculpting. I can't sculpt fast enough to put vids up and reclaim the algorithm - think I've given up on that tbh, but I would like to do something else. I can't get polemical/political without risk of polarizing the audience and getting "cancelled", so I would guess something related to art or cinema? I guess I'm just asking "what would you like to hear me talk about/present"? And I can't do tutorials - teaching secrets unpaid is a not so savoury idea. I did 2 tutorials on the 2nd channel that accrued a few tens of thousands of views, so like 30,000 people learned something from me and I got 30$ for it... not a good trade (it's 1$ per thousand views, typically). Thoughts?
Like you said at the end of the video why don’t you make smaller sculpts (like 6 inches tall) and try get more videos out on a schedule sort of thing. Btw love your work.

The only problem because
I have to be honest, is Neytiri's likeness which is non-existent....
It's not easy to sculpt Zoé Saldana's features, I understand perfectly,
but
it would have been an achievement perfect without this very important detail....

A pure masterpiece
You ever thought about ever doing a Terminator sculpt
Because Steve Ritcher and Dr. Garuda have done ones it would be cool if you did one too
Not naming favorites cause all 3 of you are evenly my favorites
I typically pass when there's a couple factors to consider when approaching a sculpt. 1, can I add anything to it? As much as I love the Terminator franchise (1 and 2), its popularity has ensured that there's been a plethora of fine artists and craftsmen that've produced multiple renditions, sizes, models for public consumption; so I'd need to feel like I'd be able to bring something unique or just "better" in some way. I don't feel like I'd really be able to do that, not without taking on the risk of a different design, and then it would cease being "the terminator". One I saw that really blew me away was a hyper-real silicone Terminator someone made of Lance Henriksen (try to search for that, it's amazing). Aside from something like that, I don't think I can bring something new like that to the franchise (I immediately thought of a Ripley Terminator - that would be remarkable!).
2. I shy away from geometric sculpts. Those types of sculpts, like any robots, armour, and some insectoids, require a lot of perfect lines and symmetry, and I do everything in clay by hand, so I prefer organic characters. If I ever decide to get off my arse and learn ZBrush, then I will probably revisit some of these, aye.

Just went and checked that out and you're right, that is a great design. These days I need sculpts of that level to be funded to be able to them. Month of work that, materials, and bills to paid... so if you know anyone that would want to commission it, I'd be thrilled to give it a shot.

Not sure if this means I'm back back, like posting every week, but I'll try. These take months to get together sometimes. I've actually made a few things but they were contracts for theme parks and a film and didn't make sense to film and timelapse... hoping to do more here, but money dictates most things, sadly. Will try!

@@ChristianMichaelNeu he sold some years ago now. Don't recall where he ended up. I've been told I should make a new one using all my new skills and materials. He was air dry clay, before I went silicone.

I would... could.... silicone is very difficult to paint if it's cured for too long, so I typically don't. If you know how to paint silicone and you're confident, I'd be willing to, sure.

Friend, I'd love to... but she took hundreds of £ just in materials costs and over a month to put together... if someone, or a group, can help fund the creation or direct commission me, I'd happily do it. Really do appreciate you guys and that you like the work, but not many people know, I have difficulty even paying the electricity bill sometimes and I make these in my living room. If I were flush with cash I'd be all about these ideas and already making the whole clan. Love the character design of the Na'vi. Brilliant concept artistry. Wish I could do more. Share the work, and if you know anyone that may want to buy a copy of her, it would certainly help. Thanks again and best to you

Very nice. The only thing I think that could be improved is the location of the queue. I am pretty sure it is lower on the skull that you have put it, but other than that, very excellent!

@ko-bk2uz I credit everyone in my descriptions. Just have to try to find a way to contact them. It isn't always easy, and I advise only to even try it if you have a project or video idea they'd be impressed with or may want to be a part of. Otherwise they're not too happy as they often get lots of requests and are often exhausted from answering emails. Just advising

Sadly, I'm not really able to create primarily for fun anymore... the project costs are so high now that I need to be certain the project is funded, I.e. it's a commission or people will definitely buy the sculptures.
