Except the electro douchbag crew started to grow up more and more. We don't like it.
Would have to agree. Many die-hard Slayer-rooted fans from Quebec (they love all that 666 shit, probably due to Acadian Catholic roots) & they know how to shred shit up good. Montreal's gotten soft, as the rest of the western world with all the social justice virtue signalling cancel culture, but, hey - that shit'll crumble on their heads soon enough.

A lot of Entombed and Boss HM2-comments here, but very little mentioning of the really obvious main influence here: Autopsy.
It's funny; Dismember credit Autopsy as a big influence (maybe the biggest) & they sound very little like them apart from the sinister dark flavor of their sound. Autopsy are the mac daddies of the dark/sinister sound in Death Metal. Death had it good, too, early on, but Autopsy capitalized with the Doom sections which only added to the crushing atmosphere.

How the fuck I didn't know that band, they are from my town. This is some vicious old school death metal, everyone in the band take the spotlight at the right moment. Very proud they're from Québec tabarnac!
The wolf howling on the first track sounds like the one from Zelda Majora's Mask when it turns night

Really heavy stuff! The guitar sounds awesome, and the screams are great. All around great sounding album. But, I always have to laugh when I see bands and artists using upside down crosses, because it's a sign of humility towards Jesus. I guess they don't know. And, it's a good thing I don't understand French, because I wouldn't be able to get into this if I knew just how disgusting the lyrics are. lol But, at least the music is cool. :)
