Amazing footage! The quality of the picture is like it has been filmed today! I think the year must be 1991 though as 37146, which appears at 13:37, didn’t carry the Dutch livery till 1991.
Loved Westbury even on a Saturday stone turned up. used to go in the mid 1980's wait for the 50 to thrash past on the passing line could be just made out or run up on the bridge to see a large numbers pass by. all the 33's on Bristol and Cardiff trains DMU's to Weymouth & Trams screaming out.
This would have been around 1988; the 155s had just entered service (look at all the eager passengers hoping to squeeze into that one there 🤗), and 37429 was probably standing in for one as reliability was dreadful. Possibly a Weymouth train

Good spot with the 37, I have combined film from many visits and 90s footage my be here as well as 80s

I remember going to Westbury on a very cold & wet Saturday to see the 59s being delivered from Southampton docks
Non hi vis dude hanging off the cab handrails of the 59 and jumping off while it's still moving; what carefree days

when did those Yeoman class 59s start appearing? I lived in Frome until 75 and we saw a lot of Westerns, 47s, 31s and then the 50s
