    Helen, seldom chef will teach step by step how to cook the sago pearls but said, soak in the water for 20 mins. I really did that the 1st time, after 20 mins, I got sago powder water ! I just learn months ago, a Taiwan chef pour the boiling water with the sago peals into a Thermos cup / jar. Forget about it until you want to use them ! True enough all are cooked. Thank you for sharing this mango dessert.

    Hello Helen, thanks for the recipe! you're right! It's from Hong Kong!! It directly translates as poplar branch golden dew , so fancy isn't it.

    Sounds very nice and will be refreshing when summer comes back (we are just starting winter down here). I am thinking I would like to use coconut milk, I wasn't quite sure but it seemed as though you were using ordinary cows milk with this recipe?
