This discourse itself is a perfect real-time example of a pure and concentrated mind. Thank you so much Swamiji. Usually, many fumble when speaking about the complex processes involved in the subconscious, or they make the others fumble. THIS IS A CLEAR CUT EXPLANATION. Clean and striking!!! As always. Jai Ramakrishna!
This great lecture of Swamiji, easiest explanation with practical examples is the pure satsang to attain pure mind... may be only for few minutes. Joy Thakur, Ma, Swamiji.
Pranam swamiji ; Easy explanations of how to focus on the mind ; Particularly the House Maid concept ; Meet the committments with GOD in the mind , will practically work for me ; So far i try to meditate with a restless monstrous mind only to find meditation is no use for me ; Now i am clear ;
Desires r always against our peace of mind guruji u have explained in such way to attain pure mind now I inclined towards sadana it's not over night process ..
In those days swamijis have such a dedication determination devotion and discrimination. Can we expect such a selfless work manovakkaya karmalu from 20th century swamijis ?
For ladies it is very nice.one .one side we can cut the vegetables & other side we can listen to such speech es..No need to allocate specific time for it
Excellent Sir. My Request to the person who is covering the satasangs, talks & lectures is that, please cover the audience, Temple Hall so that I feel as I was in the lecture hall. Thank you.
These following things are necessary but not sufficient to complete the definition of pure mind. 1.free from imaginations 2. Free from desires(subconcious and conscious mind should match) 3. No thoughts is not purity 4. External purity doesn't make mind pure. Then, what is pure mind 1. Viveka- nothing in this world can give me happiness and peace instead will make us restless...real peace only comes from understanding that real blissblies in us i.e. god 2.Concentrated mind on god. How to concentrate mind?? For householders- by doing your regular work keeping god in mind and doing it as a service to lord and his children
Speaker takes an unnecessarily long path to reach to the crux. Information of 5 minutes expanded to 30 mins. But thanks anyways. All knowledge is appreciated.
Watched first 1.35, learnt how and when pure is used in english. Is it an english language training or a philosophical discourse on mind. To the point speakers in this realm are very few. Waste of time
The first 1.35 that you watched is definitely an introduction. You could just try and go beyond 1.35 :) The speaker does touch upon the subject with scriptural references and ideas that do justice to the title. Please try.
For a person consuming philosophical content, we should learn to appreciate some subtle points being made in introduction, main body and the end. You cannot judge a content by its introduction only. In the same way I cannot judge you by just this comment of yours if I am really interested in knowing you, I will have to spend time with you. Please do not treat this knowledge as quick fix junk that you see all around you to save your time. In the race to save time, we only end up wasting time for a lasting satisfaction through quick fixes. I don't mean to lecture you but this is coming from my personal experience. Hope you take it in the right spirit.
What we are experiencing is Pure Contamination. Done with some amazing perfection.
