Just a note for the title the rifle is an ax not an axmc as it’s the short action and can’t accommodate the magnum cartridges. Lovely rifle and a great overview of it

You can get lefty bolt versions rack see sportman gun centre but as a lefty i like right bolts on bipod guns perfect 👍
If got a axmc in .300 win mag, if only put 20 rds so far. It's a great rifle,came in a crap box tho so I bought the transit case, £550!!! In total iv spent 11k on this rifle build

I`ve just got one of these in .308 with the second barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor (probably a bit late to the party as the AXSR has just come out but for 2K more than this !) and I can`t wait to try it but I`m waiting on the scope at the moment, a Schmidt & Bender 6-36x56. It will be very interesting to see how this compares to my Sako TRG 22 Tac A1 which is also a superb rifle. I`m going to have to stop watching this channel, it`s too bloody expensive !
if i were going for 7.62mm i wound get an LMT sharphooter over the AI, 1 moa accuracy and alot faster follow up shots . however in .338 and .50 the AI is one of the best out there
Lol a lot faster follow up shots and a lot less reliable lol. What a dumb decision that would be to get over an Ai 308

Sorry but a LMT is not as accurate as the AI also I’m assuming you’re talking about in a make believe world as we can’t have semi auto rifles in the U.K. (centrefire)
@@MrTangolizard wrong , the LMT is capable of 1 moa with m80 ball ammo
also wrong, LMT make spring assisted straight pull versions for the UK market which are still alot faster then a turn bolt action

@@UnRaT3Dxthe only thing AI has done better is the barrel change system. Bolt manipulation on both is basically the same, but the TRG trigger is better than the AI. Basically it comes down to preference ar ergo vs more standard ergo
@@tiputipu777 the rigger is not better on the sako, not even close. You’re telling me you would trust a sako trigger in the mud and dirt over Ai?? No sorry I don’t think so, no way.
@@UnRaT3Dx yes it is. Ive tried the old trg trigger, post 2013 trigger, m10 trigger and also have experience with AI triggers. It is close, but the trg trigger is better considering crispness, pull weight, over travel etc. I know I must be talking to a die hard AI fan so nothing I say matters, but this is my observation. I shoot PRS so I dont care about life or death situations but the TRGs are pretty much as widely used by armed forces across the globe as the AI so between them reliability is pretty much a wash. NYPD Swat also just ordered a bunch of M10 rifle setups so if it was as superior as you say why didnt they pick any AI?

If sako is better why didn’t they pick that??? See how delusional you sound? Army also picked up Bushnell scopes, so I guess bushnell is better than Tangent Theta and Zero Compromise LOL😂 . It’s hilarious how but hurt people get when people say something Ai is better than something and then they just call them fanboys. So I guess you’re a Sako fanboy I can just say. There’s zero chance sako trigger is more relatable than ai, I’ve owned both and shot both many times. And the pull weight on the final stage is like 1.5 lol you don’t need anything g lower than that unless you are a very un talented shooter from a vice. And the break on the ai is more consistent and crisp than sako, having tested a handful of each and testing trigger pull and seeing which breaks when it’s supposed to every time and the exact pull weight it’s set to. Ai hands down out performed the sako trigger
