Republic are more corrupt than a monarchy cuz the person who is supposed to lead his "country" to prosperity always negligent it because they don't know what or how to run a country and just became one for lavish lifestyle of being the president of the country, spending all of the national funds on personal things and left all the problems to the next elected leader. Not to mention the rigged/corrupt election for the presidency and you have to pay more taxes for an autocratic republic. Unlike monarchy where you have a person who was born to be school and bred for the position to govern the country since day one with the constitution, this person knows the situation of the country, the politic, economics and etc and as the quote goes "the greatest slave of the kingdom. Is generally the king of it". Plus abolishing the monarchy would make the government loses more money than earn with same tax that they used when the monarchy was around cuz in example the british monarch gives up most of their earnings from their crown estates that totals around 200 million pounds annually to the government for a fixed salary around 1 million or less and the average British citizens pay 4.75 pound per year for them total amount from all citizens would be 100 million for the royal family. And the government spendings cost around 0.5% or 1% to maintain the monarchy, the equivalent to build or maintain all roads in the country. And to say that monarchy is undemocratic is biased and anti monarchist statement, during the aftermath of the Napoleonic war and revolutions of 1848/1849. Monarchy are more democratic than autocratic republics cuz people tend to think that democracy equals to republic but in reality that isn't true, republic are for the people and democracies are for the majority of the people and therefore democracy are not the opposite of monarchy, it is the republic that's the opposite of monarchy, not democracy. Also sorry about a monarchist like me rambling about monarchy. Is just the part of the song where he said "living carefree. He wanted the world, he wanted everything" got me triggered about my respect for the monarchy. First of all, what made the king wanted to have everything in the world, when he already have everything as monarch.
