To vita4life, Rachel is taking about the greater Boise area. The political views are mainly conservative except for Boise proper. If you want peace and quiet and are tired of car stereos, this is the place for you. I live in the Oaks in NW Meridian and I love it. I enjoy the peace and quiet.

Thank you. We are very serious about moving, we’re just trying to find the right area. Idaho sounds just about perfect.

For us, crime was the motivator to relocate. There came a point after several close calls, when I realized that becoming a victim was only a matter of "when". In Idaho, falling prey to other humans is highly unlikely.

May I ask what particular part of Idaho you’re located at? Does this list apply to pretty much all areas of the state, just your area, or are some areas different (maybe due to different political views)? My main want is somewhere safe and QUIET, particularly when it comes to neighbors. I’ve had enough of constant booming loud music all day from my neighbors on seemingly all sides.

We’re in the Treasure Valley. Mostly all of it is peaceful, even in the suburbs.

The medical insurance you mentioned- that doesn't include coverage for anything major does it? $99 a month has to be for very minimal care right?

Thank you for the helpful information.
We live in the Seattle area (you mentioned it in your video) and we are flirting with the idea of moving to Idaho, but what scares us most is the prolonged heat in the summer.
Do you have any videos about weather patterns in the Valley?
