In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

Liza just straight up went for a little stroll, found something on the ground to use as a hat and then arrived right 'on time'.
Except she came 3rd so was far from right on time

Liza in this task is a big mood. Sometimes a good walk out really refreshes you.
This is absolutely one of my favourite tasks, and Lisa just shines! She is like a homing pigeon!! She just instinctively knows the way to the taskmaster’s house, and totally enjoys the whole thing. Love her for that!
They really went and made a task based on Joe Lycett's running gag in series 4. Can't wait for "Give Alex the most pet names in 30 seconds".

I'm surprised that Russell's attempt was closer than Liza's. There definitely seemed to be a greater urgency about him. I guess it took longer than it appeared to get the Uber ordered.

I know it's been 3 months but 1. They said the hat can't come from the house grounds and 2. they don't know when they started
@@aloneitan3819 1. we can argue the hat was not "from the ground" 2. they can ask what time it is to that taskdude (or a stranger) at start of the game
My favorite part of this task is the callback that happens during the live task later, when Russell complains that Liza has taken her shoes off before the whistle was blown and Lisa replies, "Ring your agent."

My pure love for the creative team, taking a moment from a series and turning into a task in a later series. This one's based on Joe Lycett's kisses on the taskmaster portrait. Notable tasks created from previous show elements: Sit on a cake, Prevent Alex scoring a goal, ...
What was the goal one inspired by?
@@iliketrains3495 Presumably Kerry Godliman's way of increasing Alex's pulse, which just devolved into her trying to beat him at football? That's what comes to mind for me anyway.
A big part of this show is Alex' epic comments and those deadpan answers to any questions raised.
I completely forgot about this task. Might be a sign to watch this series again.
I find myself doing that, the forgetting part. There's usually something I recognise as I watch but as the task starts I can't always recall it. Might do a rewatch after the next run is over, seeing as it starts next week.

As someone with absolutely zero sense of direction, who only last week got lost two streets away from his own house, I would be utterly fucked at this task. The house is in Chiswick; I’d have ended up in Dalston.
Liza preferred to pick a dirty bag up off the pavement and put it on her head than to ask the amicable gentleman at 2:13 whether she could borrow his baseball cap.

Of all the Taskmaster tasks across all the series, this is one of my Top 5 Nightmare Tasks. I'm claustrophobic. Being confined in that wardrobe for the entrance, even for just 2 or 3min., would likely have sent me into an asthma attack. I have a lousy time sense and absolutely no sense of direction. This task would've ended with me sitting quietly on a curb after an hour of increasingly distraught wandering - trying to keep Alex from seeing I was crying in frustration and embarrassment.
I'm more of a paint the door with my feet, haunt the house, crack the encrypted riddle, make a snow globe, eggplant hide and seek, go pro movie making, sneaky pineapple wearing kind of girl.
Hahahaha! I barely even leave the house, so I'd probably do even worse than you :D. I remember a few years back I was trying to visit a burial ground and I planned to go via train but ended up stuck with a bus replacement service. Bus dropped me off I think somewhere vaguely near the burial ground, but I have no clue as I really didn't know that area well. Couldn't google where I was as I didn't have a smartphone at the time, so I ended up lost around a housing estate and some woods. But I think after an hour and a half I managed to fumble my way to the Burial Ground.
After I visited, I didn't trust myself to find my way to the closest train station (which I would have still needed to get a bus at said station cause of the replacement service they were running). So, what I did instead was walk alongside the main roads to the next town (which was an area I did know) and got the bus replacement service there. I think that walk took me another hour and a half or two hours, I didn't wanna get lost again so I didn't try and walk along any side routes that could be quicker.

I thought that internet qulity went in the hole, but no (quality on your clips is still 1080p and the internet speed is better than fine). It's in all your videos that i saw until now since i've found your channel. And if i watch any other videos on yt is good.

The reason I’d find it somewhat easier than many is that the Taskmaster House is in my own (former) local area, so I’d very quickly deduce the way there. Combined with my inherent sense of timing, I’d say I’d have a very decent chance of a great score here.
