Why is it so Much Fun to Inflate Balloons Until they Pop in your Face?

When someone first suggested this six years ago, I thought they were daft. After trying it a few times, I found it to be ridiculously fun. People seem to enjoy this type of video, so I keep doing it. All that being said, I've never quite been able to pin down what makes it fun when it would be intuitively unpleasant.
