Reading & Northern 425: Steam on the Lehigh | July 23, 2016

On July 23, 2016, Reading & Northern steam engine #425 hauled a train full of tourists from Mountain Top, PA to Jim Thorpe, PA as a fundraiser for the Mountain Top rotary club. Despite temperatures reaching 100 degrees Fahrenheit that day, passengers were treated to a scenic ride through the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania and through the Lehigh Gorge State Park before arriving in Jim Thorpe to shop and dine. Thanks for posting this fantastic, delicious video! A glorious engine with a hauntingly beautiful whistle, gorgeous coaches, and even a turntable. Couldn't ask for more entertainment for fans of steam videos. Loved your camera work, too. A joy to watch.
