When I came out to my next to youngest sister -- she said, "Oh, OK, now it all makes sense." She was referring to everything she had seen me do growing up as well as throughout my life. I am 60+ and on Day 42 of my MTF Hormones. Since I came out to her as Trans -- my sister and I have a much closer friendship as two sisters.
nothing in their faces or bodies look alike. starting from the eybrows... down to the chin, everything is different, even the shape of the head. or the hair line is different. different shape of the eyes, different nose. if they would be spottet inside a room, judging from the look, nobody would even think they are sister. so how could anybody think they are twins? and I'm not speaking of identical twins. they are just two different women.
They do have similar features, but not many. They almost have exactly the same color eyes, same cute little nose and pert mouth. Sis is slightly more rounder, face wise. Maya is a bit angular in a couple of places but still maintains a facial "softness", if others can see that.
Great Video! Excuse me for butting in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you heard the talk about - Gonameron Voice Vicariousness (search on google)? It is a great exclusive product for learning how to achieve a passable feminine voice in the next 30 Days minus the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my old buddy Taylor at last got excellent results with it.
I applaud you both for putting this out there. As more and more trans youth come forward and tell their stories, the ignorant public will become more accepting. No longer will it be some kind of "omg" story, but just another life experience. Good for you.
I love your videos. I'm questioning my gender right now, pretty sure I'm a woman but I'm not out. Going to talk to a gender therapist soon. Anyway, you're an inspiration for me right now. I love that you're happy being yourself, and I really admire your mannerisms and expressions.
AnarchoNerd seriously if you are pretty sure you're a woman......probably not. Take it from a transgender woman....we are not in essence a woman. We are different however...but there should never be doubt about being transgender....if there is you're not ready to transition.
AnarchoNerd I second Annie on this one! Take your time, everyone has a different journey! I wasn't sure at the beginning too. And now I have nothing else to say because you said it all Annie! :)
Annie Beguhl first for me there was never any doubt nor regret to transition....I think if there is any wavering doubt then you are not ready for transition. Transition isn't something you should take lightly. You should prepare yourself physically, mentally, emotionally, be prepared to lose family and friends...it will happen. You must be good at coping with stress a most other things. Start slow agree....never rush into anything do your research. Remember as a trans woman you will always be a trans woman....don't misrepresent yourself. Being transgender means more than being a woman. We have a double perspective on life....we have walked on both sides of the fence....be open and honest and people will respect that. But for every person transition ing there are different reasons....mine were clear as day....I went into it knowing all that I could beforehand.
Ok I misread your original comment, but I think I understand better now. I definitely agree we should be READY before we start transitioning. I thought you were saying if you weren't sure, then you probably weren't trans. And I actually do agree with you on the woman vs transwoman thing. I think it's unhealthy for transwomen to believe they are exactly like ciswomen, because as much as I'm sure all of us hate it, we aren't. And that doesn't mean we can't be feminine or we can't identify with femininity, it just means not buying into simplistic ideas of understanding *why* we are feminine or *what* our gender dysphoria *means*. I feel like the number one issue people have with transpeople is that we're delusional because we believe we're "women" just like every other woman (which means they think we believe we are biologically female just like every other ciswoman). And I don't get that, because most transpeople I know are extremely aware of their body. But not all of us word/think about it the same way. So I'm not going to tell anyone how to think about themselves, because that's not my place. But I will personally agree with Jessica Simonson that it is far far healthier to accept that we will never be ciswoman and instead embrace our binary-defying trans-ness without losing our claims to femininity. I hope that made sense. tl;dr, I misinterpreted Jessica Simonson's post and I agree with her.
Hi Maya... Thank you for showing the positive side of social media. It is so refreshing to see your openness, your honesty and your warm and friendly personality. On a cloudy day, you are a ray of sunshine.
I rlly appreciated your video it was nice I am transgender myself mtf I suppose well it was interesting what you said abt someone feeling they had lost the boy you but the context was that you were never a boy and were just becoming more of your true self this made me feel rlly nice and validated that it's okay for me too And your sister is so accepting and she is truly lovely
Susan t.M. Bad, they don't even belive me... But my friends are totally cool with it, so in 2 or so years I will be financialy autosuficient, then I will transition
Lauren Smith life almost never is as we want, a person has to adapt to the challenges life puts on its way and overcome them, noting will be too hard for me to overcome
It's so sweet, how close you are to your sister Emma. It's one of the things that endears me the most to you. I'm really happy for you that you have someone so accepting as Emma. Two cute vegans. "I’ve learned to laugh at the process. If I wasn’t laughing, I would always be crying." Those words say so much. I love your sense of humor!
Aawww, I am also a transgender girl since my 14th. Love the way you both are talking about it. Love and hugs from the Netherlands. You are really looking great girl. Two super sisters.
You two look like twins - beautiful and confident ladies! The title of this vlog confused me at first. I thought you both were transgender but I figured it. Out after a minute of watching. Great vlog!💕
I'm a Trans-Woman. In certain respects, with all that estrogen in the air and being mid-way, you couldn't help becoming Trans!!! I grew-up in a apartment with my mother, grand mother and great -grandmother. Plus, my two female first cousins would dress me as a little girl and take me places.
At 4:53 MAYA that little nose wiggle was adorable. You're gorgeous and you make me question my sexuality, I'm a "straight" cis-girl, and I admit I'm attracted to you, I think I may be bi or pan maybe because I've been having alot of feelings abiut who and what I'm attracted to these past few years. I mean I think I'm "straight", I have a boyfriend, but I have been having certain feelings around other ...people ... idk I'm definitely confused lol🙄
It's weird to me that anyone would think being with your sisters did anything to make you look less feminine. You guys look SO much a like. The pictures you've posted with all of them is insane. Definitely looks like some of you are practically twins. :-) Great Q&A
I thought I was trans and still could be. I had 5 brothers, but trans or not, I wish I had a cool sister like Emma. I also feel it is not required for me to physically become female. I can just be who I am. Everyone should be happy with who they are.
Wow...you two have been blessed with some pretty amazing genes. Beautiful modelesque eyes and features. Go thank both your parents for your beautiful faces. haha
How did you ever become a Vegan it seems really hard I’m a Vegetarian, but there isn’t a lot of options in Florida to shop for Vegan Food. It’s also very expensive kinda hard to do while going to college full time.
Christopher Wheeler it's not that expensive, instead of looking for vegan replacements (like fake meat, fake eggs, fake whatever) change your diet altogether. And there's A LOT of "Normal " foods that are vegan, just check the ingredients.
GhostxLeee I kinda did that already I actually eat only vegetables with noodles and rice. I will just give it a little while most of the time I’m not even at the house. I spend a lot of time at school and it hard to find a salads without meat on them let alone cheese. My professor has tried to go Vegan multiple times but never was successful at it. She don’t believe in hurting any innocent animals or participating in such violence.
Maya i unstand you have been hurting growing up about the decision you had to make I'm here for you but you need to understand there a lot of people that's been hurting too may God always bless all of you
I’m so jealous for how your relationship is! My sister and I are not close at all. We have nothing in common & barely grew together. Also, you guys look so similar!
Beautiful girls. I would love to have a sister like you Maya! Very happy that your family accepts you and loves you for the real you. I wish every LGBT would have that luck
I'm a lot older than you and have been on estradiol and spironolactone over 10 years but ill never pass as female so I was going out but have went back inside with that . you on the other hand are beautiful and I only wish I looked have as good as you
Tragically, I was born a heterosexual. A few comments for all my gay friends: “You come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfect.” “Being gay is not a choice but being a bigot certainly is.” L.Z. Society forces you to think it is a choice, but in fact, it is in one’s nature. The choice is whether one expresses one’s nature truthfully or spends the rest of one’s life lying about it.” “What do you mean you don’t believe in homosexuality? It is not like the Easter Bunny, your belief isn’t necessary.” Are you still with the fiction of Noah’s Ark and Adam and Eve? If so, your brain has stayed in the caves and needs to evolve with the rest of us. “Homosexuality in Russia is a crime and the punishment is seven years in prison, locked up with other men. There is a three year waiting list and the Pope is in it.” “Every time I hear someone making ignorant comments about homosexuality, I think of the Million Muslims the Bush-Cheney Christians killed in Iraq after they lied to the American people. And they claim to be “pro-life.” How many “yellow men” did they kill in Vietnam? “Jesus never said a single word about homosexuality. Jesus was illiterate. He never wrote a single word. “I choose to treat the homosexual like I would treat any other form of sexuality.” “To me, it is mind boggling to think that homosexuality was forbidden up until 1967” while since the times of Adam and Eve, men have found it hard to find the vagina.
Thank you for letting me know how cool your sister is with you I wish my family would be more open minded I would like to start my trans I told my Mon and my family and kids are not happy that I am transgender I love my family and my kids they all told me if I start they will not talk to me any more they say they would be ok if I was just gay but I don't see myself as gay..... You can tell that you are the older sister by the way that you kept cutting her off when she tried to answer a question!
Yeah, THAT makes sense
mayaaaa you’re so pretty i feel like i’ve been watching you forever and i’ve missed you recently!!! glad to see you back though
ps y’all could literally be twins lol
nothing in their faces or bodies look alike. starting from the eybrows... down to the chin, everything is different, even the shape of the head. or the hair line is different. different shape of the eyes, different nose. if they would be spottet inside a room, judging from the look, nobody would even think they are sister. so how could anybody think they are twins? and I'm not speaking of identical twins. they are just two different women.
don't get me wrong, they are both pretty and likable girls, but I don't think they look alike. maybe it's only me :)
Christian it’s not that deep man i made a comment you don’t gotta break it down lol i’m here for maya not a random youtube commenter
They do have similar features, but not many. They almost have exactly the same color eyes, same cute little nose and pert mouth. Sis is slightly more rounder, face wise. Maya is a bit angular in a couple of places but still maintains a facial "softness", if others can see that.

Also, you guys look so similar!

Where are you in age order among your siblings?
I am youngest of 3 and I wonder if there is a connection between older siblings and MTF
Maya - I know this was 2 years ago, but that plaid shirt is fabulous and I'm now googling like crazy to try to find something just like it.
You cant even tell shes trans shes so beautiful I would date her regardless everyone deserves love even trans people
While the whole idea of trans is a bit hard for me to understand I'm happy you have found what makes you happy!
My brother HATES Me because i'm transgender. He's got social hangups, and suffers from mental blockage. You's two are so lucky! :-)
People who mock a transgender is a complete fool.
Did your sister get any flack from her peers/friends when they found out she has a trans sister? Glad you have a wonderful supportive family.
Your makeup is beautiful!

You can pass as an older sister the only problem in the future is she will be one to make a baby.
I think Maya is a cross between Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore.

You are both so cute. Happy for you that you have a good support group. Hugs
Not sure why I understand why you stopped playing video games and writing. Your explanation didn't really make sense there. Love the video overall! =)
Nice insight to family relationships
You guys look SO ALIKE!!!

I hope I look like my sister! She’s so pretty
Both are very lucky girls, you Maya because has a great supportative sister, congratulations you are so pretty
Just an advice : you don’t have to over feminize your voice like that. Be natural, like your sister speaks :)
Frack i wasn’t expecting to hear my name
Why did this video take so long to post
If you told me that one of them is transgender, I would have called you a liar.
Two beautiful siblings
You two are beautiful!!!
