    1:21 I'm always sort of amazed when people have some concept of things that didn't work or couldn't be done throughout history, despite evidence that they do work, and can be done.
    Reminds me of a lindybeige video where he talks about drawing a sword from the same hip as the hand you're drawing with, and how somebody said that it couldn't be done, while he did it in front of them.

    Not sure that deadfall method is thousands of years old, the three stick method shown was patented in about 1840 or so in England I think.

      SYOTOS You can soak the skin in water I think so the fleas will drown (but I don't know if the water can ruin the hide

      SYOTOS fleas feed on blood. Once the animal is skinned and the hide either starts to dry or is tanned, they will leave for food elsewhere or die.

      SYOTOS I've found soaking my hides in a bucket of either diluted vinegar or Dawn removed all fleas and ticks. Botflies are another story and I cut them out.

      Rusty Shackleford Something that small could be ready within a week if it isn't too humid outside and it gets a good amount of sun. If you're impatient then you could cover it with salt for a few days and get roughly the same result
