Just stumbled across your video Mike; fascinating to watch all those wrong line movements. I went to Sydney Gardens to film the Cromptons and couldn't believe my eyes when it came past me wrong line. To be honest, it didn't make for good filming because it was too close!
That is bad luck Mark, I was on a diverted XC train and thought what's going on here, so I went back to Bath and it all became clear what the problem was. Regards Mike.
Thank goodness for bi-directional signalling I guess! Pity no crossovers either side of a busy station like Bath though. Great to see Class 33's at Bath again, even if not on a regular passenger service.
@@antman09ful1 oh ok fair enough. i rode the last one from Bath Spa to Weston-Super-Mare on the 18th May. I love the HSTs however for me the iets are a worthy replacement (but they will never be better)
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it this old video Josh, cheers.
Very good. Never tire of seeing those 33s
Nor me.
Superb Mike glad you were here to witness the controlled mayhem ,wow and then the Cromton what a session , great work enjoyed Nick .
I was held up at Bathampton Junction for about 15 minutes trying to get through
@@antman09ful1 Utter pain!
It's good how they found a way to keep the trains running. Nice work, loved the double cromptons. That's a like from me.
That's great you enjoying my video, and thanks very much for the like.

Well spotted mate.
Very nice Mike :)
Thank you very much.

Its was a good job that was installed Darren when the signalling was done. Cheers.
At least they have the infrastructure to be able to run the trains in the opposite direction. Well done Mike
😁 😁
Yes if they hadn't the delays would have been very bad I think Anthony. Cheers Mike.
What was the Cross-Country HST doing passing through Bath?...engineering work diversion?
Diversion via Westbury.
nice video
Thank you for watching.
Good to see 33s still turning up today.
Yes its great to see these Crompton still doing a bit on the network.
Nice one mike
Andrew thanks for your comment.
Why did they do this
Signal failure.
Where were all the iets
I don't film trains which replace HST's, but thanks for your interest.

also hope the flange wasnt too bad. i know what it can be like at Bath
Seemed to be a lot of passengers trying to get on very short trains Mike.''
When I was there every train was the same.
most services are 2 or 3 car trains.. and the portsmouth service on a 166 .. ouch !
Thank you.
David Gatt the passengers are grateful they're not in the north and travelling on a Pacer...
Well if you had any problems at all I never saw any of them
This is a through station in Britain, all the trains are running "wrong line" due
to signalling problems.
(left to right, not the usual right to left)
In the USA it would be OK.
Blimey that right did my head in, sure it wasn't April 1st ?
Did it Craig, I bet passenger were up and down the stairs a lot also.
