Fantastic video, well done Jacob! This is right up my alley as I'm a fan of the Home series & a collector too. Amazing how you guys succeeded in finding those vintage sealed items.....I'm looking forward to the next part.....more...more...more
You could pick up the sampler for free those days as it was laying on the counter for grabs in every computer store over here in Europe :-) ...aaaahh...happy days
I have a lot of nostalgia for a Microsoft Home product called Explorapedia: The World of Nature. It's pretty neat for a kids title, imo, and I'm surprised that it seems to be pretty obscure now.
We will be covering the Explorapedia titles pretty soon. We recently tested 'The World of People' and I am looking forward to checking out the 'The World of Nature' as well.
I was curious about when Microsoft ended support on some of these. From Microsoft, "Microsoft Complete Baseball 1994 Edition, 5/4/1994, 9/30/2002". That's a lot of $1.25s.
I ran the math! If you paid $1.25 per day for updates from start of the service to it's discontinuation it would cost you $3840! That's enough to go to a ton of baseball games!

Glad you enjoyed the video. We have a bunch more to come.
It can take us quite awhile to track down the things we want to cover! Even longer if we want them a decent price!
Great video but that constant background music is completely unnecessary and gets annoying very quickly.
myy favourite series is your unboxing old things
This is a new series that we are still refining, Let us know what you think! Your feedback is really important to help us make this show even better!
I played 3D Movie Maker so much as a kid, but never felt like I finished it. I think I should try to get it running again just for the nostalgia
The interface for Fine Artest is pretty unique.
That CD sampler comes with a whole lot of variety!

I remember giving those out to customers back then.
We sure are spoiled by a world where you have a atlas of the entire world and a GPS in your pocket

What a blast from the past!
That classic windows 3.1, 95 CD-ROM aesthetic is super nostalgic! It's crazy how much has changed since then!
This video made me feel old! Lol
