    A beautiful and honest moment shared between two strangers who are bound by freedom, empathy, and integrity.

    I've got to admit I'm not moved to tears by much, but man, what a sequence with the voice over, music, editing. Brilliant filmmaking.

    Man this movie completely destroyed me, I was only 26 watching this but my whole life flashed before me, moments of sadness, loneliness, joy, love, anger, mistakes and so much more like little frames of memories and I just couldn’t hold on. If you have your parents or loved ones alive with you, let them know that you love them, before it’s too late. Show them that you care.

    이 영화 최고 명장면.
    만남 덕분에 잊고 있던 기억이 떠올랐다. 나는 기억을 되찾고 그는 선물을 받았다. 우리 둘 다 빛나는 채로 헤어지는구나.
    The best part of this movie.
    The meeting reminded me of the memory I had forgotten. I regained my memory and he received a gift. We're both breaking up shining.

      I hope I am wrong here but I don't think it's going to be McDormand this year. If you check the predictions among film critics, McDormand was not the first choice for the simple reason that she already had two Oscars. And currently the academy is under intense scrutiny for lacking of diversity and the presentations, I can totally see why they would prefer Andra Day or Carey Mulligan than the old guard like McDormand, both Day and Mulligan had outstanding performances, and they are fresh new faces.

    Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
    Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
    Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
    And summer’s lease hath all too short a date;
    Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
    And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
    And every fair from fair sometime declines,
    By chance or nature’s changing course untrimm'd;
    But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
    Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st;
    Nor shall death brag thou wander’st in his shade,
    When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st:
    So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
    So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

    Yeah ... that bit where they're showing the picture of everyone sitting at the dinner table with all the food on it. People who lived during the depression do that. They take a picture of a full table of food.

      Se te comparo a um dia verão
      És por certo mais belo e mais ameno
      O vento forte espalha as folhas de maio pelo chão
      E o tempo de verão é sempre bem pequeno
      Às vezes brilha o sol no céu em demasia
      E outras vezes ele desmaia com frieza
      E tudo o que é belo declina num só dia
      Por acaso ou na eterna mutação da natureza
      Mas em ti o verão sempre será eterno
      E a beleza que tens tu nunca perderás
      E também não chegaras da morte ao seu triste inverno
      Pois nestas linhas eternas com o tempo crescerás
      E enquanto nesta terra houver um ser
      E olhos que possam ver, meus versos vivos te farão viver.
      SONETO 18
      Shakespeare
