I too enjoy ability swapping between my two pokemon. In 3rd gen I would use a grumpig with Own Tempo and skill swap onto a slaking, and then use swagger on that slaking.
I love using Dancer Oricorio teamed up with Petal Dance/Quiver Dance Lilligant. It's honestly so strong. EDIT: As soon as I posted this comment, you said the Dancer strategy. God dammit.

Awesome video weedle you're the best poke tuber. I like using hariyama w/flame orb guts, fake out, cc, heavy slam and knock off with orangururu trick room support and instruct to spam cc like crazy. With others trick rooms supports like drampa, porygon 2, mudsdale and others!

Critical Hit from a Mega Latias STAB Draco Meteor AKA Droppa Draco literally does 60% to a Cresselia ;0 I know Cress is really Specially Defensive, but damn, no way... A 130 Base Power Move gets a Crit and literally does 60%... That's mad insane... EDIT: Cresselia has a pretty damn good HP Stat of 120 as well, and 130 Special Defense, but top that off with a Critical Hit STAB Draco from a Mega Latias with 140 Base Special Attack, that thing I felt would have at least been 10 or 20% left. What the actual f**k ;p
I used to use Power of Alchemy Alolan Muk with Unaware Clefable in vgc doubles. Man it was a lot of fun! the other fun team i had involved trick room with Stakataka, Aromatisse, Tsareena with Queenly Majesty and Malamar. Plus some other, but it was a lot of fun too, as opponents didn't know how Queenly Majesty works xD (its basically like psychic terrain but it doesn't block my own priority moves). Ally Switch, Heal Pulse were in play and stakataka had weakness policy if i remember correctly. Anyway i liked the use of Topsy Turvey and i actually had Malamar with i belive Power Belt or one of those speed reducing items as held item for the speed i wanted it to be (slow for trick room). You should try playing around it xD
I once did a set that relies on super effective moves and a tanky psychic type special user. I chose azelf, the Moveset being Psychic Calm Mind Energy Ball Dazzling Gleam Its item was a weakness policy, and I set up calm minds until hit by a super effective attack. Azelf tanks the hit and uses the item. I OHKO it with Psychic, I then OHKO the next with Energy Ball, and the last member with Psychic. It can sweep, but may need to be used when you know you have a chance.
I laughed so hard when I hard bowsers inside story - boss battle theme came on. I don’t hear anything from that game anymore. It’s like everybody forgot about it.
I think it's great you play for fun, and not always seriously. There's nothing wrong with playing seriously, but it's also good to just let loose and have fun.
I don't really do double battles a lot but when doing the tiny tournament for the mega stones back in regular sun and moon, I used a trick room team with offensive torkoal. That was pretty fun.
The strategies I love to use is Aeriolate Dragonite with extreme speed. The team is Mega Salemence, Pixolate Sylveon,Receiver Passimian and Multiscale Dragonite

My fave strategies for double battling to use is my sunny team and/or my trick room team. For my sunny team I use any Pokémon with drought so ninetales or charizard Y and have a Pokémon with the move weather ball like roserade/castform or chlorophyll Bellossom. I run a modest Bellossom with max sp atck and speed and she truly gets the work done. As for my trick room team I’ll have either my magearna, oranguru, or stakataka to set it up. I like to use oranguru and gardevior (calm nature) so I can instruct calm mind to make gradevoir a special wall. Nice double battles weedle!!!

I actually loved using a Talonflame and Cloyster lead The whole idea of the setup is to get a guaranteed toxic spikes with cloyster with a red card (Or choice cloyster paired with assault vest inceneroar) to not only disrupt them from the get go but so I can later send in a drifblim and/or toxapex to have fun with some hex and venoshock shenanigans. It's not been my most successful idea but it's been pretty funny when I manage to pull it off.

I like to use a double buff strat: Geomancy + Boost on a slower pokemon transform them into beasts and it can roll over unprepared teams.
That's one creative doubles strategy! So cool!
