Lisa Marie Presley died last week after suffering a cardiac arrest at her LA area home. Now, a newly released 911 call paints a picture of her final hours.
I am almost 4 months younger than Lisa; her death shocked me. I remember that I was at school on the swings when I learned that her Daddy died. Never knew the Presley family but felt close to them. I am glad that Lisa wasn’t living alone in the end. My heart goes out to Priscilla and Lisa’s three daughters. I think that if I would have had Lisa’s stress; I would have died young, too. She had too much for her body to handle.
I remember when Elvis died .My mother told my father who was eating his dinner on his lap in front of the television.He nearly choked on his spuds .John Lennons death had no effect on him . Only yesterday 😊

I heard a lovely, 911 operator handle a difficult emergency call on a UA-cam video once. I’d never heard anything like it and was so impressed. She accomplished all the goals of her job without a trace of irritation, annoyance, frustration or hatred. Come to find out the operator worked in Australia. I have gratitude and sympathy for 911 operators, but we should choose them, train them and probably pay them better in the U.S.A. I believe. Lisa, I wish you were still here. You gave so much of yourself and were always kind and modest. I am honestly hoping no tape of your memorial service at Graceland will be available. It will be just too sad. I was 6 yo when Elvis died, and although I didn't understand death at the time I can remember that somber feeling in the air like it was yesterday. I never paid much attention to Lisa Marie but I get that same somber feeling I experienced on August 16, 1977.

I knew a woman who had 3daughters. All commit suicide a years apart!! They were alcholics and couldn't deal with it guess!! She said " oh honey my only son comes to see me each week and he's my only child left!!! He died of a heart attack at 50 soon after!! She cried to me " My heart hurts it has a ache!!" To my shock she died a week later and I cried non stop!!" Then I thought " Hey why am I sad? She's out of her misery and im happy for her now!!'. Yes a week after hearing her son die she was gone. Imagine hearing 4 of your kids dead
