1. The first few minutes (Nobunaga, transport ship fiasco) were really entertaining.
2. I particularly liked how the epilogue smoothly became the transition into Korean scenario.

True, but Tokyo is not shown there. On top of that, Osaka Castle has a moat that could be considered "a river" I guess... There is also a river separating Osaka from Hyogo. Kyoto is also north of Osaka and there is a river between the two provinces.
Those cities are on the same island IRL
This level was designed to be a rescue gone wrong type deal originally and could only be reworked so much in the time they had at the time

It says in the hint a sneak attack would be more successful than direct assault. If you land over on the right there is no wall and a ton of gold and stone to build on their side of the river. I think all of the relics start there too so if you are fast you can stop them. You kinda have to know about it before hand though

for the next mission, I recommend the movie movie *"The Admiral: Roaring Currents"* for those who are interested in Admiral Yi Sun Shin's naval battles. I really enjoyed it
I also recommend playing the Admiral Yi Campaign in the game Empires II: Dawn to the Modern World!

I started the campaigns again with viper, I went quite ahead because I knew most of them and played many in a row.
However I'm on Bari now and I don't want to keep playing, hopefully watching TheViper raging will motivate me to play them aswell.
Well to be fair the enemies don't kill Nobunaga, he commits suicide/seppuku when his health falls low. There is even an animation where you can sort of see that. Waiting for forgotten

Im really hyped for viper playin through the forgotten empires on hard. Im almost through and its really really tough im excited to see how many tries he needs for bari mission 2 and 3 dracula is a joke against that guys :-)

Yeah, I remember I kept trying so hard as a kid to keep him alive, lol. It would only sadden and frustrate me every time he died...
What I did was sent my samurai immediately into the castle where they would heal 4 hp, then bring them out to stand a better chance.
Literally impossible to heal them more than 4 hp, I've tried

when he landed I was like "oh,if you attack them early they do not have that much stuff" and a little later "never mind". In my game though I went for the monastery first and even grabbed some relics so as they won't do it again

Viper, I have a good challenge to you: Build the farms symmetrically around your TCs or Mills. And farms have to fit to the Mill and leave no awkward space between them. (Hint: You can fit up to 8 per TC or Mill, so it's very land efficient as well).

Yes, he was (kinda) trolled by the trebs cuz Japanese trebs pack/unpack 20% faster

2. The quick relief of death on rebels' hands.
