Ran same thing for a few months now. Tried explaining to my woman and this video helped because we have 2 30s and a 60. Traverse over extended and wanted to show my woman that the parts are.... bad sensor setup where it's just a rod that hits a switch to stop traverse but a decent machine I can get the smalls to 2thou and the big boy in tolerances of 4thou.
You guys should make more content with this thing. It's awesome

Ran same one for a few years. In that time I also spent many shifts on the 84", 96" and 120". But the 60" was my usuall grind.
are you still doing blanchard grinding ?
@@jacobwang3391 no, not for quite a while now. I am usually on large vertical lathes, medium horizontal boring machines and large lathes.
We have one of these at work. 32" table. Things gotta be world War 2 Era.
let me know if you need grinding segments which are not from War 2 :)
I ran a similar grinder for many years and devised a way to hold size within .0005 constantly it was tool I designed but after I retired lost it.
My favourite job 2 years experience
i miss these :(
awesome and an important machine. if you cant make a reference flat surface with precision you can t meke precision machines and precision parts.
