A band that have been playing Rock and Roll since the early 60s should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
I must be older than dirt. During the late 60's, I would go to hear these guys (the original Sonics) play Saturday night at the local National Guard Armory.

Years ago I was really glad to hear that Don was playing bass with the band so I'm equally glad to see that he's back playing and touring with the Sonics. Don was one of the original members of Heart so he's part of that original and genuine Northwest sound. One of the most talented guys I've ever known and worked with.

That's Rob Lind, he got drafted out of college in the 60s for Vietnam, flew off of aircraft carriers and eventually retired as a Navy Captain. We were new-hire classmates at Piedmont Airlines in '87. Amazing guy, nice as he can be.
@@markthorpe4087 and thank him for his service been a big Sonics fan forever and I respect Rob and all his great sax playing. But this aint the Sonics I grew up with.Without Gerry Rosalie's vocals and keys and Parypa's guitar it aint the same. ESPECIALLY the vocals. just sayin

@@goodtimefolkrock Hearing this I'm so glad I got the chance to see them at the beginning of their reunion, at Paradiso Amsterdam, when Gerry Roslie, Larry Parippa and Freddy Dennis - though not an original Sonics-man, but from The Wailers if I remember correctly - ao brought the house down. :-)

The fake Sonics. The only original member is the sax player. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the original singer Gerry Rosalie died recently and bass player and singer, Andy Papyra has health issues. Too bad. But nothing lasts forever. I was fortunate enough to see the original member line-up several times from early 2000s to 2015.

No offence but this is shite. I was contemplating seeing them live but it's virtually an entirely different lineup from not just the original but the one which reformed a few years ago. I'll pass.
I'M FROM THEIR HOMETOWN, THE ONLY ONE LEFT IS THE SAX RIGHT? THEY DID A LOT OF SHOWS WITH ALMOST COMPLETE ORIGINAL LINE UP. I'M ENJOYING THIS THOUGH. GREAT SHOW. I WOULD HAVE GONE.

This tribute band is no match to original members. Sound is too clean, they should just break up if they can't tour
