This time I decided to build a router circle cutting jig. A trim router is a very useful and a handy tool in the workshop and a circle cutting jig is one of the basic tools for a router. In this video I am showing how to build such jig to make perfect circles. The circle jig has a measuring tape on the bottom. You can adjust the radius and make circles of different diameters - in this case min is 2cm & max 60cm. While making the circle cutting jig I let the slider get as close as possible to the router bit to be able to cut circles with a small diameter. I am very happy with the result. Save money and built this useful circle cutting jig yourself. It is a simple woodworking project and you'll see how useful it is. I'm used to larger, corded routers ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQ5_mgwq6PcudJvAH25t-I4D-3cTPz4z so this was a different experience for me. Basically, this is an incredibly sweet machine, fits well in the hand, etc. It has slightly less power than I'm used to, but that's understandable. Maneuvering freehand takes some practice. These days, it's especially nice to be able to avoid power cords. This is above the level of a hobbyist but below a pro level.

Thanks a lot for sharing this video! I'm a woodworking beginner. With your very detailed video it should be possible - even for me - to rebuild such a circlecutting jig. What is different to many other jigs here on YT: with YOUR jig it's possible to cut circles with small adjustable diameters! Greetings from Germany,

Hi there! This one is 5mm. In my opinion this is a good width. Strong, still light and does not take much from the router bit.👍
