I really like the "will it run" series. It's my favorites actually. :-) On GY6 carburetors there is a spring that pulls the trottle close if the throttle wire would snap. Only time I've had problems were when a vacuum hose jamed the throttle. Maybe a double wire would have helped then. I think you can hear when the starter runs that there is no compresssion, otherwise it should not sound so "equal". The valves should not be under any tension when top dead center if the chain is correctly applied. Too bad there was no compression, maybe just the valves need some polishing (are leaking). Could be something simple still, I would check the head for leaks.
I'm pleased you like the will it runs I love them to . Hey did you see the video of the VIP scooter I rehabbed when the carburetor got stuck wide open ❓ you should check that video out it was hilarious . Yeah as I was sitting here editing the video I noticed that it was spinning over was to smooth. I'm going to find a piston and cylinder kit for it and give it another go. Hey THANKS for COMMENTING and WATCHING ‼️
@@scooterrehab6295 Yeah, had to check it out again. Man that's really bad luck, getting it stuck like that. I have a scooter that someone has cut the centerstand or something like that, so it grabs the floor when I throttle it, I see the danger. 😀
My friend has the panels in the same exact color. I can ask dude ?? The motor was locked in that vino. I dig the shade of blue they used from the factory 🔥🔥🛵👍
It is a nice shade of blue I'm on a mission to thin down my collection. I'm post all these body panels online for sale and keeping the engine and wiring harness to make something custom. I want to do a couple different custom builds next year. @just4kicks950 as always thank you so much for watching ‼️
Just found your channel and really enjoy watching "will it run" type videos. I like this problem solving content. When you said "cool beans" i had to subscribe!!! Definitely, going to go back and check out past vids. 👍
since you removed that EVAP/emissions thing, you need to cap off the pipe on the carburator. Thats where the vacuum leak is coming from. the 2 wires on the carb, one heats up the carb, the other is the autochoke. I think Mitch Scooter Stuff has a video on that too edit: i hope the cylinder/piston is good. I got those rubber caps from autozone. I put a ziptie on the rubber cap to lock it down
Hey thank you for the information ‼️ I ordered a new top end hopefully it will have some compression once installed. I have a project in mind for it now. Thank you for commenting and watching ‼️
Pretty much all I wanted was the engine and wiring harness was ment for the orange Zuma but . Once DMV told me I couldn't register my ruckus I had because the VIN had been removed from there records I decided to GY6 swap it. Thank you for commenting again and watching ‼️
Just got a 2006 Vino 125 a few days ago. It's really fun, but I don't know my way around it, yet like how and where to add two stroke oil, if it is a two stroke even, so I will know after this video, hopefully.
did u no on vino u can use a flat screw driver an put it flat an turn an hit start button an it will work if u don't have a key done it many of times but if u got like a fly wheel on your scooters u can run it buy take cover off on side of it an u can put a rope around it an then u put it on run an u dont have to have a bat just pull start it an put on run an shell run I do mine that way but sold that one got sick of doing it that way so got me a nice vino 2004 model yamahal 125 an painted it candy app red with white skulls all over it the scooter u are work on looks like mine I sold it had a small crome skull on it with bones my new one I got paid 1500 four it love em
Yep you can the previous owner kept the ignition switch and cut the pigtail . I don't want to show people how to steal scooters. Thank you for commenting and watching ‼️
Yep someone tried to the the previous owners other vino so he found this on marketplace for cheaper than a ignition lock and fuel cap from partzilla. Can't blame the guy saving 💰 is key 🗝️. Brandon THANK YOU FOR COMMENTING AND WATCHING ‼️
Yes it is id keep it but I already have to many. I want to build something custom with the engine and front end . Thank you for commenting and watching ‼️

Sometimes you have to admit defeat. No, not really. Its when you stop trying that you lost! Keep it up!!!
I agree but I'm not done with it yet. I think a new top end is all it needs. Thank you for commenting and watching ‼️

If you end up parting it out can I buy the carb from you?
I plan on rebuilding the engine but if things change I'll let you know.
There’s no fuel pump on that bike
Also they’re called fairings. But that’s OK you were probably just flustrated
