  • Managed to get some work done between rainy days. This year we borrowed three-furrow plow from a friend to test if it could work on our hilly field. It turned out JD pulled it quite well so we might look into buying one ourselves.
We had a problem with ocassional lumps of grass sticking out after power-harrowing, looked like the roots were so thick and strong they just stick to the soil.
As usual, planting with our trusty Fiat and a two-row planter. Small setup but we only plant this field which is only just over 2 hectares (5 acres).
    Thanks for watching!

Farmer's POV (Point of View) is a channel where I share videos of different chores that are going on on our small family farm in Slovenia. We have 60 heads of cattle, mainly simmetal breed and we milk about 35 of them. We farm in a fairly hilly area so our equipment is relatively small. Currently we own 4 tractors: Fiat DT55-56, New Holland TN70DA, Deutz Fahr Agroplus 85 and John Deere 5085M. We work around 20 hectares of mainly grass fields and about 2,5 hectares for silage corn. We also have 7 hectares of forest.
