Sarah, I really love your allotment channel, you are such fun to garden with, I hurt and puff right along side you and that is the extent of my gardening 🤣 To old anyway. Those big tiles will make a lovely patio for you, Mick and the family, such a nice person that brought them over. Everything is looking better all the time, you're officially a gardener !! 😃 Much love and hugs 🥰🥰 xx
Have a sack barrow, its amazing what I can shift with it, a old gardener here, did a Apprenticeship in Horticulture and Gardening over 44 years ago, here in New Zealand. But am nearly self sufficient in vegetables and alot of fruit. But have just installed a tunnel house after 31 years in this garden, so am learning a whole lot of new stuff.

I too have one of those kneeler/seats and its really great for when you stop for a cuppa down by the bed you're working on as you can take a look at your work in comfort. I could never get up from a kneeling position but will its handles I can. You are doing a great job Sarah and if you want to warm your soil up in futures use black polythene or the membrane stuff.
The slabs are going to be a lovely addition to your sitting area, looking forward to seeing that in progress - your fence and other touch-ups look fantastic in the grey paint - I like the idea of mixing difficult jobs with some whimsical ones - you are doing great
I have that kneeling bench. It saves my old knees and back. When I got it last spring I told my husband I’m officially old. I’ve used it to kneel or sit on when I paint inside. 😊
Good on you, lugging all that stuff up the hill....the big difference 1 person can do... big improvement with the grey paint...you can do it. Beautiful job.
Wonderfully done! You always do a great work. A big thanks to your amazing friend who gave you all of the boards and flagstones. Also a big thanks for your friend who bought you the kneeling/ seating chair for planting and painting. Great things to have out there. Ha a wonderful week Sarah. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
I really like you. Our garden got a late start because of the weather. It is coming along even though the weather is still chilly. My husband and I struggled to get what we planted into the ground this year as we are having some health issues. We have been gardening all 51 years of our married life and before that all our childhood. I could give you a lot of advice but it may not work well in your climate and with your soil condition. Just keep trying and you will be fine.
Hey Sarah, I love that you are trying your hand at gardening . I am subscribed to and watch your other channel. I love gardening. I have surrounded myself with beautiful flowers were i have space. Good luck with this project. I will enjoy watching . You are a beautiful and creative person.
Oh wow Sarah, you've got some amount of energy! It's so amazing watching your garden coming on, as I said I don't normally watch garden videos, but I must say that watching yours is a amazing journey, I think that a nice hot bath
How nice to see someone’s allotment journey my dad had an allotment years ago and I remember we would put his tools in the car and head up to the allotment to work on a Saturday morning he had vege and flowers we only had a very tiny front garden at our house so the allotment was his joy !
Those flagstones are really nice, great score for the allotment! I like the frivolous jobs, I think the paint makes everything tidy and looks like it all goes together...

What generosity your friend has shown, in donating slabs and decking wood to you Sarah. What a saving and so very useful too. Wood ash from a wood stove helps with weeds and it also gives nutrients to the soil. Your garden looks great! I've seen a video of a repellent for midgies is vanilla extract, you just pour some in your hand and rub, or spray bottle. I haven't tried it yet. Take your time so you don't throw your back out. If your buggy would of took off downhill wouldn't of been good. Awesome job on the fence! Beautiful colors on the flowers. ❤❤
