In legal contemplation it is as inoperative as if it had never been passed...
Since an unconstitutional law is void the general principles follow that it imposes no duties, confers no right, creates no office, bestows no power or authority on anyone, affords no protection and justifies no acts performed under it. A viod act cannot be legally consistent with a valid one. An unconstitutional law cannot operate to supercede any existing law. Indeed insofar as a statute runs counter to the fundamental law of the land (the constitution)it is superceded thereby. No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it."

I’m SO glad I don’t live in that awful state anymore.
Just to clarify, you CANNOT carry a weapon into a secured area at an airport in Texas because you have an LTC. You can attempt to do so without being arrested. If you do carry INTO a secured area of the airport because you got past TSA, and it has happened, you still have committed a crime and will be arrested.
The funny thing is I lived in San Antonio "military capital" of the states and I was the only fool open carrying.. hardly did I ever see anyone else open carrying
🇺🇸🫡
Is this Benson Koshy Varghese from Chennai, formerly known as Madras? Kindly let me know please
So I have license to carry. But I can carry it pretty much everywhere?
you can carry it anywhere even without a license since 2021. As long as you’re 21 or above.
@@JJJ-vd6gq thank you becouse I have a license to carry but I thought since I have the license it was concealed.. yea that's were I'm confused. Mine says "license to carry hand gun."
In Florida even with your permit they run a check on you every time you purchase different guns . SMH
Jerry brown took out open carry in California
🤦🏽♂️
Im sick of all these random traps in the legallity of self defence that are burried in details. These traps may very well send you to jail for the rest of your life.
I need my state to go from blu to a red state . Im done with the far left. Now overe here we have petrol protest.
When can I draw my weapon, today as I was delivering my Amazon route a guy in a truck blocked me yelling that I’m keeping his mail from him ( I’m not usps) saying he’s gonna fuck me up and he was closing the distance, I live in Texas and I know I can stand my ground but am I allowed to draw my weapon if for instance he had blocked my in before I could go around and get back into my truck and I was cornered
When he physically threatened you, you were good to draw. Closing the distance is the tough part. There would be no argument if they are getting within reach. For me that's too close. Remember, better to be judged by twelve than carried by six.
Catch 22 equals infringement
Can you carry in university if you’re a college student?
Thought you were talking about alcohol
This is Texas, where criminals are punished!!
Know the definition of firearms and the second amendment.
I prefer Missouri. where you can be 19 to carry.
I live in Texas I will always Reno my handgun license
Like the wild wild West! Texas is Texas!
As a Californian, this sounds way too reasonable. This is clearly a hoax. 😅
Didn't know about the airport
Open carry..... he meant "Constitutional Carry"..... open carry is the carrying of a firearm unconcealed, it's the opposite of concealed carry which means the firearm is not visible at all.
Both are fully legal under the constitution of the united states of America supreme law of the land.
It's called Constitutional Carry and all states that don't allow it are in violation of Constitutional law.
Without Government permission..
(ANY) law , policy or government agency that stop you from exercising your Constitutional rights are in violation of the Constitutional law.
A background check, license/permit is not constitutional Cary. Background checks, licenses/permits are unconstitutional and therefore illegal in violation of the supremacy clause, article 4 section 2 paragraph 1, second amendment,10th amendment,14th amendment section 1.
the constitution is my permit
shall not be infringed
i disagree with putting my name on any government registry
You don’t register your vehicle? Are you registered to vote?
@@iamthomasgreenmanstupid apples to oranges comparison. The constitution doesn’t have an amendment specifically for those things!
@@WheelchairWolverine 15th amendment guaranteed the right to vote to all Americans. To pursue that right you’re required to register.
@@iamthomasgreenman but you are only allowed to vote once. Which requires the ability to know who has voted. The second says "arms" meaning multiple, not requiring to know how many as its irrelevant to the ammendment
@@shaunfilby8026 you’re required to register ALL of your vehicles too my friend.. I like how you jumped over that part of my comment to get to the “only one vote” argument when making your statement 😂
If you want to make the argument though that we should only be required to register as a firearms owner and not disclose exactly how many and of what kind I could see some compromise in that.
So if a cop sees you carrying a gun in Tx can they just stop you and demand I.D ??
yup
@@ThattexaslifeRead the Laws.
Nope demand a warrant, and then ask them are they conspiring and depriving you of your constitutionally protected 4th amendment warrant clause rights (papers).
Use exclusionary rule and fruit of the poisonous tree in the court as well as Title 18 U.S.C. section 241 conspiracy against rights and Title 18 U.S.C. section 242 deprivation of rights under color of law against all officers involved in the court. Your papers (drivers licenses/ID, insurance, registration) are protected under the warrant clause.
Supremacy clause.
Article 4 section 2 paragraph 1.
4th amendment.
10th amendment nor prohibited by it to the states clause.
14th amendment section 1 no state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the united states clause.
Exclusionary rule
A law that prohibits the use of illegally obtained evidence in a criminal trial.
Fruit of the poisonous tree
Any evidence obtained illegally is inadmissible in a court of law.
No, they can not
As long as they get their thirty pieces of silver.
Does this apply for non residents ?
The need to let 21 or older to buy a gun
And at 18 I can open carry a rifle
Can you do Arizona and tag me?
Cool, thanks for the info.
You forgot to mention that police don't have any way to enforce the restrictions on it since you're not required to carry identification and even if you were they'd need probable cause to ask for ID.
Probable cause is only to get a legal lawful warrant under the 4th amendment.
I wouldn't walk into any airport with a loaded weapon. Just asking for trouble.
You can take guns with you on a plane if the gun is legal in the place where the plane is landing
Very informative. I still say and will scream from the mountain tops that guns and bars and usually men do not make for a good combination. There used to be bar fights, now they're bar gun fights.
Thank you governor
