I used to build jails, had friends who went to prison. From what I experienced and general thoughts is if the sentace is done, debt to society is paid in full. If not then why are they out of prison. If they are out and off paper, then their rights need to be fully restored. If there are doubts to their rights, such as 2A, then why are they not locked up. Furthermore, background checks to weed out felons-again if they are out and off paper then all this will do is increase recidivism. I had a friend who got out and off paper but people would not hire him to drive a semi truck. He had enough to get his own authority going so he started his own company. No problem pulling freight. It's these companies and it all needs to stop. Stop eroding our rights for all of us.

Please define “secure area” in an airport. Is secure area beyond the metal detectors? Is secure area the publicly accessible area before the metal detectors?

If someone were to try the situation that this man used, i can assure you, the person would yell out that it was against the law to keep him from leaving the airport just because he didn't have a gun license. Get your terminology straight. If you claim to be informing people you shouldn't be misleading them. Open carry is carrying openly, as opposed to concealed carry.
In Texas there is no prohibition on adults in lawful possession of firearms to carry them openly or concealed. This is called constitutional carry or permitless carry. The prohibition against adults 18-20 has also been struck down, so this is for all adults.

    US supreme court
"The general rule is that an unconstitutional statute, though having the form and name of law, is in reality no law, but is wholly void and ineffective for any purpose since it's unconstitutionality dates from the time of it's enactment...
In legal contemplation it is as inoperative as if it had never been passed...
Since an unconstitutional law is void the general principles follow that it imposes no duties, confers no right, creates no office, bestows no power or authority on anyone, affords no protection and justifies no acts performed under it. A viod act cannot be legally consistent with a valid one. An unconstitutional law cannot operate to supercede any existing law. Indeed insofar as a statute runs counter to the fundamental law of the land (the constitution)it is superceded thereby. No one is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it."

Just to clarify, you CANNOT carry a weapon into a secured area at an airport in Texas because you have an LTC. You can attempt to do so without being arrested. If you do carry INTO a secured area of the airport because you got past TSA, and it has happened, you still have committed a crime and will be arrested.

When can I draw my weapon, today as I was delivering my Amazon route a guy in a truck blocked me yelling that I’m keeping his mail from him ( I’m not usps) saying he’s gonna fuck me up and he was closing the distance, I live in Texas and I know I can stand my ground but am I allowed to draw my weapon if for instance he had blocked my in before I could go around and get back into my truck and I was cornered

When he physically threatened you, you were good to draw. Closing the distance is the tough part. There would be no argument if they are getting within reach. For me that's too close. Remember, better to be judged by twelve than carried by six.
