- We've come a long way with my 2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra, and with it all cleaned up I thought it would be nice to get a video of a walkaround, some exhaust clips, and my thoughts from my ownership of it. Enjoy.

Dude hope you kept this Terminator it's so clean. I remember when these were new, people really lost their minds when Ford put the blower on, they were so cool then and still are.
I own a 2003 semi built Terminator Cobra as well but I will NEVER sell her! Blonde Betty is my ride or die lol. She is Zinc Yellow btw. A lot done to her bout 500hp but all the right mods done so All I need is to slap a bigger blower on her and she could be making upwards of 1000hp 🙂
I had a 99' v6 for 8 years and a 00 GT for 4 years. I would be awesome to have the Cobra experience in this model. I own an 08' GT500, and always wanted both, but didn't pull the trigger. They are a rare find now mint.
I had a similar story. Used to have a 97 cobra and 03 Mach always wanted a terminator ended up in a 2007 gt500 which I also love I got it for a steal. I got it for less than I can get most terminators similar mileage and condition. I wish you could still get a nice terminator for 20k those days are long gone lol...
Looks great! I’m in the process of restoring my Oxford White 2004 SVT cobra right now. You did a good job on making that paint shine.
Don’t get rid of it… you’ll regret it. They’re getting harder to find nice examples.

It’s beautiful. I have a 13 GT convertible and it’s my favorite rear end of the SN95, S197, and S550s. It’s FBO with long tubes and a Roush Axle back so it screams. 430 rwhp

Wow very clean and like the stock interior so many of these cars got rode hard and put away wet with the most tacky gauges drilled into the dash and pillars.
Absolutely beautiful example! One of the only cars that I would prefer in red. I have an 08 Vista Blue GT (fine example also)
I love vettes and v car Cadillacs. I've always been a fan of the terminator Cobras they're so cool.

Woah I wasn't expecting this video to get so much attention. I was mostly posting this to document the end of my journey/build with this car, and it's always nice to see how much people enjoy seeing a Terminator Cobra. The car sold in less than 24 hours (even to my surprise), and the listing is up on the 03-04 SVT Mustang Cobra Facebook page in case you want to see the listing. FORD, Please make A MODERN VERSION of "THE TERMINATOR" Mustanggggggg....
It's never gonna happen there is no chance even if the name came back it wouldn't even be a shell of the original one just leave well enough alone don't let them ruin this name plate too like they did the lightning. No we don't need another terminator because I know for a fact modern Ford would never make something this cool.

Home port the stock Eaton. My car with a home ported Eaton and accufab inlet anx tb on e85 made 534 to the tire on a 89 degree day. It was tuned by Dean's performance with the help of Bod kurgan.

I'd personally keep the car, even if it had to put it in storage for a few months. After all the time, money and effort you've put into the car? The chances of coming across another one of these in this condition will be slim, and there's no guarantee the next owner will take as good of care of it.
Nice car and whoever takes ownership will be very happy and hope they take care of it and don't dog it. The fact that is breaking loose on MT shows proper this thing is. Are you selling on AutoTrader or someplace different.

Wish they would bring the Cobra nameplate back, I feel like they should of made the 2024 Dark horse a cobra, but then again maybe not seeing as I have been hearing a lot of negative things about the new mustangs.
No the cobra needs to stay where it belongs with the real mustangs. The new one is shit so the shit dark horse name fits it well. Ford is barely even recognizable anymore even compared to like 10 years ago. The best days of new mustangs are behind us unfortunately. There will never be another cobra or terminator no use ruining the name.

Yep, it's the stock rear bumper, the letters are inserts though, the stock 03-04 Cobra bumper does not come with inserts. I'd try the major Mustang retailers, LMR and American Muscle among others

Did you shave the irs bolt to fit those meats?
Good question, I actually did both shaving the IRS bolts and hubcentric spacers. There's a good write-up on one of the forums about it but I could have gotten away with just the spacers, I just didn't want to take any chances with rubbing esp. when the car is lifted

Nice ride! IMO anything less then 500whp in today's scene is just not enough, that is on a car that weighs 4,000lb (assuming that is the weight of your car with you in it + full tank of gas).
Yea and you better have some 500 Hp money too! Hp costs and so does fuel!
Yea it depends on the vehicle in question and the overall setup and weight. You can have a ton of fun in a 300-400 rwhp car on the street and they can be pretty quick too in the right car with the right overall setup.
