I always loved how invested Nana was in her character. She could have just acted her scenes, but the more I read up on DS9 the more I realize how involved she got with Kira's direction as a character.

Nana Visitor’s talent as an actor is up there with Avery Brooks. I genuinely feel she is the most skilful actress Star Trek has ever known. I know Kate Mulgrew is very theatrical and the first female captain of a series and Terry Farrell is stunning and was every straight guy’s pin-up... but when I think of the ‘real deal” when it comes to good, believable, unaffected acting - Nana is a master. No other series had the strong acting talent that DS9 had. Thank the prophets for this documentary and I pray one day we will have it on Blu Ray.

DS9 is my favourite trek, it's the only show to have characters from TOS & TNG even Voyager's Doctor was in an episode

@@geemonster9179 That's cool. I know what you meant when you said about the Doctor, but technically that wasn't Voyager's Doctor... it was an EMH like the Doctor, but was not actually the same exact one from Voyager.

@@geemonster9179 Robert Picardo played Dr Zimmerman when he visited DS9 to create a new EMH called an LMH, modelled on Bashir. We saw a brief appearance of an EMH MK 1 that was based on Dr Zimmerman's appearance, aka like the one on Voyager. That's the closest we got. It's all good... fellow DS9 fans gotta stick together

I’m not ashamed to say that when that last shot pulled away from the station and disappeared I actually cried a little. The PEOPLE…well characters in that show that I loved spending time with…were gone. It was over. After awhile, I was just as happy watching them hang out at Quarks as in some tense space battle.

These DS9 series are better than current discovery series .They are not just Sci-fi shows. Some episodes are based on real society issues . It is well written and excellent casting . I really miss that show.

Nana is my dream girl...her strength in her role helped me learn what kind of person is worth my time.
How to be a person worthy of the time of others.
I hope she learns this...but it's ok if she does not. Such is life.

GAH! When is this Documentary coming out!!!! It feels like so long that I've been super excited about it! I gotta have it!!!
BTW, dont take this as criticism... take all the time you need... Id much rather have you take your time and make it right and as awesome as you can than to just rush it to get it out sooner.
Im so excited about this though... DS9 was by far my favorite series.
Also, I heard Ira say that he hoped this documentary got enough focus and interest on the series to finally get a damn remaster treatment like TNG got a while back... that made TNG look absolutely beautiful compared to the unmastered version... and DS9 is the series that, BY FAR, needs it most!!!
    PLLLLLZZZZZ DS9 remaster!!!!

The Bajorans never blew up civilian towers on Cardassia. No one considers the insurgents on their home soil fighting the US military 'terrorists'. Silly non-comparison.

I always thought terrorist was more of an honorary term because she was more a freedom fighter in a slave revolt.
And I think that they could’ve, I thought she said that you need to take collateral damage, so if a building was important and the cardassians we’re using it, they probably would’ve blown it up
