O'Brien and Bashir were the best depiction of an old married couple in all of Star Trek. Through the good times and the bad, they were always there for each other.
If you're going to talk about Kira/Dax, then you can't absolutely forget about Garak/Bashir. I can't even begin to tell how much I regret they never became an item.
Morn & The Gorn buddy spacecop series with Bashir & O'Brien as primary love interests and an eight part special 'Kira and Dax Go To Risa'... my life would be complete.
I think I'm the only person who really loved Kira/Odo? I don't know, I had been rooting for it since Season 2 (Necessary Evil specifically). I don't know, the kiss in His Way was, like, tope 10 moments of DS9 for me.
@@ethanrichmond3992 Not the only one shipped it since like the second episode when she asked him, "How much do you know about me?" and his response: "More than you probably realize." I knew he was the Snape to her Lily. I came late to watching the show. It aired when I was like 12.
ok but consider: that whole thing where julian and garak literally were an amazing gay trek couple and it just wasn't allowed to happen and also: that whole thing where jadzia very much did love worf and also: that whole thing where yeah, kir a and odo was weird and bad, but u know what wasnt ??????? miles and keiko and kira. that shit was beautiful and polyamorous and lovely and Not Allowed to happen either.
Elliot Grant Please tell me why, in particular you see Bashir and Garak as inherently gay? If we didn't know Bashir to be straight (not to discount him being revealed as bi), then I could see that story working....but what about their interaction seemed different than a platonic friendship to you? As for Kira/Kieko/Miles, I see what you mean, but it makes sense that somebody (probably Miles) would be too concerned about hurting a loved one to risk such a thing.
Andy very deliberately played Garak as into Julian and was just asked by higher ups every time to Stop. Julian and Miles have a conversation in that one episode where they're stuck inside the leader of section 31's brain where Miles is basically like "dude in an alternate time where I don't have a wife i love very much, totally maybe". And yeah it just felt to me like especially the first couple stories dealing with Kira's pregnancy it very much felt like theyd been trying to move in that direction? like fuck dude I'm all for a story about them all just talking it all out bc healthy polyamory requires excessive conversation anyways
Nerydzia - now that's a pair I would've shipped instantly. Too bad you missed out on the _"highest rated series of the franchise history, ever"_ CBS. BTW, I blame you for showing me that beautiful kiss in "Rejoined" (when I was in my early teens), encouraging me to explore & be what I am today and I would like to thank everyone involved with that episode, this series & the franchise for being a positive influence on my life. Naysayers, nitpickers, critics, controversies, creative differences and production difficulties are a part of many franchises but what makes Star Trek different, is the hope for a better future that it provides, right from the beginning to present times. I really wish this beacon of hope is never extinguished. Season's greetings from 🌈San Junipero🏳️🌈 🖖🏻 Live long and prosper 🖖🏻

Yep, gotta take this perfectly egalitarian show and reimagine it to pander to the woke mob. Not woke enough! Put all the women in relationships together...
I'm thankful that you didn't do Kira/Dax actually. There's a huge stereotype in the media that all lesbians are hypersexual, and I can easily see DS9 falling into that trap and continuing this stereotype.
I will not "live a little" if it means hurting or disrespecting others. You may not make that distinction, but I do. Your words are hurtful to lesbians.
This was painfully unfunny and uncalled for. Don't spend our money on content like this, please. This is not how I want to think of DS9. Anyone old enough to really get the show is too old for this video. What a waste of time.
@Joshua Calkins : _"[sic] […] Anyone old enough to really get the show is too old for this video. Watching DS9, on TV, was *an experience* in my formative years and this show, as well as the other shows in the franchise, were and still are, a part of my life in analogue, digital & streaming media. I, most certainly, did not find this video a waste of my time and money.
Dax/Kira confirmed. I'll jump off the Ezri/Bashir ship for that, why not?
I would totally watch Morn and the Gorn.
Me too! Can we get this to happen?
Morn and Porn, I mean Gorn
me too
Porn of Morn and Gorn
We all know bashir and garak are the best romantic relationship in the franchise ever

I am recreating DS9 digitally. ... Shall I take some license,. and merge Garak and Bashirs quarters? ;")
@@WoodysAR Yes
Jake and Nog also Odo and Quark were the greatest romances.
Ghey.
Why Jadzia is loving with Worf from TNG? He is not in DS9, he in TNG.
This has watered my crops and cleared my skin. God bless
Kira/Jadzia forever.
Bashir / Garak. They travel the galaxy on adventures. Garak hurts stuff and Bashir repairs them.
:-D

Y'know, I can ship Kira/Jadzia. I did like Jadzia/Worf, but never felt the Kira/Odo thing.

Snape was kind of an abusive dick, though...

0:32 Jadzia!!
Please, the best Trek couple was always O'Brien and Bashir, the sexual tension was electric, damn you Keiko 😝
Hey, cant blame hot asians! but yeah loved those 2!
oh please, sure they are wonderfull buddies, but have you ever seen scenes with Bashir and Garak? That's where all the tension :)
bad gamer1967 honestly tho, keiko kept trying to set them up,, obrien probs just never got the hint that she wouldn't mind
NastasiyaFun that wasn't sexual tension, that was a whole "50 shades of grey" thing with those two 😜
¿porque no los dos?
You rock, Mr. Combs!
Proved by the Intendant. I guarantee you remember her with Mirror Dax
KIRA/DAX MY WIG IS GONE

Dax and Kira would be my dream come true ♥
Kira and Dax? Oooh, Yeah! They would have made one HOT couple. Better than Dax and (Grumpy) Worf or Kira and (Clueless) Odo!
Really sad after that last scene in the show very poignant no other series has had that affect on me.
The Kira/Dax joke was low-hanging fruit… every show on TV got there first. Bashir/Garak would have been funnier.
Dax and Kira 😋
Quodo & Kiradax >>> Kira/Odo
The comments on here are funny. If you have to take everything seriously than you need to go back and attend another convention and learn to relax.

DS9, the Pepsi Light of STAR TREK!
not quite TNG, but better than VOY! 😉
Better than TNG and all New séries (DIS, PIC, PRO, LD, SNW)
Thank God you didn't do Kira and Dax together that would have sucked!
