I have no problem in buying a phone with HMD name but HMD should launch 5G smartphone with good processor and strong build quality. There should not be any compromise on build quality.HMD launched some strong build quality phones in 2018 like Nokia 6.1, Nokia 7Plus etc.
Nokia 7 plus was really good. Lasted me a few years and even used the warranty, charging port broke. But HMD service was clean and fixed it really fast. I hope they start to make greater phones, like the old days

It's nice that it's repairable, we really appreciate you giving customers right to repair. But why you guys always offer the worst processor in every price range, how will someone buy this when they can get much better processor for the price? Just for ethics, environment and repairability? No, PROCESSOR is the most important part of the phone.
Why on earth did you change the channel name? Nokia will be forever class, no one wants to buy a phone with a name like this! Change back the name to Nokia.
The license is almost over so they moved on but honestly need more effort to create an interesting phone
There will be better devices from HMD released by the end of July, with Qualcomm 6 & 7 series chipsets, AMOLED display, OIS and user-repairability.
The exclusive license agreement HMD had for the Nokia brand for phones and tablets is expiring so they cannot simply continue to use the name, and it is unlikely Nokia will look to renew as most of their consumer licensing ventures have failed.
Their Nokia license is running out, so they don't have much of a choice than to try and grow their own brand. If you have used any Nokia phone since 2016, you have been using an HMD phone. So Nokia or HMD, it's no different in this case, just the name on the back. HMD was formed from ex-employees that worked on Nokia's (now gone) mobile business.

I have a Nokia G10 that I bought for my son as a temporary phone. It has a very similar spec to the HMD Pulse. The processor on both phones is slow but not unusable. Having a slow processor is actually an advantage because with a slow processor battery life is in the G10 an industry beating 3 days. Another feature which help improve the battery life in both phones is a large display which hides a huge battery. The battery life in both phones is also helped by its LCD display rather than an OLED display.
I think that the similarly specified new HMD Vibe is a better buy because it has a much better Snapdragon 680 processor. Unfortunately the HMD Vibe is only available in America.

I think the market really need a phone that is effective for active people and travelers on a medium affordable price. Make an xr22 like with a nice 8gb RAM, 256gb ROM EXPANDABLE please, a good set of cameras with AI and modes and a super ~8000 mhA battery that can last days, and a good processor, make it rugged to survive anything, buttons that can be personalized, am I asking too much?

Nokia destroyed itself in consumer mobiles in the Symbian era, Microsoft then put the body to rest. HMD is a continuation of what was left of the Nokia mobile division, as much as nobody wants to accept that.
Nokia N9 was DOA. It was futuristic and ahead of its time. Meego OS was awesome. The swipe gesture we have now were already present then.

Don't buy, don't buy, don't buy, warning, warning, warning, warning, warning, warning, warning, warning, they make phones repairable instead of making them durable in first place, if they wanted us to use these devices for long they would've released kernel source and device tree for all of their existing devices to build custom roms when the support for existing phone ends but they don't do it, their support system is very bad they don't take your suggestions or feature requests, instead after upgrading to newer Android version they disable some existing features, I suffer from these things you shouldn't hence don't buy it, go for Motorola for clean Android, and Xiaomi/redmi/poco devices for useful and featureful UI, and on top of it they charge you very less even on high specs as compared to this shi*box which will be I think priced for 180 to 200$ (in India 15000 to 16000) but it will depreciate within 1 year and will go 75% sale price, but at 190 to 200$ you'll get way better devices just wait a Lil longer collect a Lil more money for that price let me sort it out for you: moto g84 5g, redmi note 13 5g, redmi 12 5g, poco X6, poco X5 Pro, don't trust other brands that much except this and Samsung's I've used devices from these manufacturers and they haven't disappointed me, Samsung at this price range isn't recommended by me as value for money factor plays a key role, for Xiaomi and it's sub brands you shall wait 1 year or little longer their high end products get as low as 50% or even lesser than original price on their official website and Amazon Flipkart etc.
Now you decide you want to buy a fake Nokia 3310 in 2023, or a better device which is value for money in 2023?
