I didn't know that Ms Nancy Hills died. I loved her character in the book and as well Lady Chablis, Joe Odum & the rest of them from the story. Nancy "Mandy' seemed like a lovely and enchanting woman w/ a warm spirit. May She rest in peace. I hope Nancy is in heaven having cocktails and sharing laughs with Lady Chablis & Joe Odum.
We had the pleasure of meeting Nancy in November of 2006 when she coordinated our wedding at the Savannah Beach Bed & Breakfast Inn. What a wonderful woman. We've often thought about her....
Im a georgian.....and i adore. Savannah..my favorite place in the world.i was fortunate to live there in 1965..before savannah was so completely discovered..my father loved savannah..and we would go down in the summer and stay at the desoto hotel in downtown savannah..then go out to tybee.and stay at the savannah beach hotel..his father took him there as a child...they went out to tybee on a train..he loved if..so do i.
The only one I know for a fact is still alive is John Berendt. It's a shame but not too surprising when you remember the events of the book took place between 30 and 40 years ago. :(
I really miss our Bourbon and Club soda times at Debbie's! I'm sure your enjoying a few in the sweet hear-after with Emma, Joe, and Lady Chablis but you are missed back here!! There is Dixieland Jazz in Heaven now!!
Miss you Nancy. Glad you're here with us now.

My cousins have MS and ALS in the family.. heartbreaking
The Lady Chablis passed away about a month after Nancy. Most of the main characters of Midnight In the Garden of Good and Evil are now gone.

@@kate_cooper The Sister of James is still alive and so is his lawyer.
Thats sad.😪
Sonny Seiler is still living. He was Jim’s lawyer and also played the part of the judge in the movie.

What a lovely lady Nancy was. Such a shame she passed away. RIP
Also, let's be honest "Midnight Mandy" would be an awesome stripper name.
RIP Nancy.
Rest in peace.
Wow. ..She was a pretty woman! Looks a lot better than the movie actress who played her part. RIP Mandy
