Hi Mark, thanks for all your info, I have a Suzuki 250 Intruder they are a great bike, have had my licence since October 2012 & still very happy with (Suzi). I really enjoy all of your Vids keep them coming. Stay Safe & Upright :)
G'Day Michelle, thank you and it's my pleasure! You can't go wrong with the Intruder :-) and I'm sure you will have lots of fun with Suzi. Cheers... Mark
I really like what you've done with the bike. If I were ever to get an Intruder I would do many of the same things (have to get my Learners Permit first). Can't believe how expensive those accessories are though, it's ridiculous.
Loved your video. Im looking at getting a Intruder for my 1st bike, what do you think? Heavy etc? Will be using it for out and about suburbs, not city and a few country runs. I am 62 year young and this is on my bucket list. Just got my licence so now for the next step. More info woud be appreciated. Thanks, Marcia
G'Day Greg, LOL "G'Day" anybody can use that word :-) I'm so glad you mentioned the lowers as I've been thinking about getting some for my bike, but I wasn't sure if they were worth it. I've read so many conflicting reviews about them and not alot of bikes have them on here in Australia (at least that I have seen anyway). I will look in to getting a set for my bike first I think! Thanks again mate. Cheers... Mark
G'day Mark!! (hope that's appropriate for a yank to say that... LOL!! Lookin' pretty well all set!! Might I suggest you consider a set of lowers for your lovely lady's bike? They make way more difference than I would have ever imagined. Then I;m sure she would appreciate the additional calmness of air behind the windscreen that they provide. I always felt like the wind was trying to suck the helmet off of my head until I added them. They can even be home made, and just buy the fork clamps...
G'Day mate, The only differance I can tell, bad or good is... they are just more comfortable. No not hard at all to get them to Australia, just had to do a little searching to find them. Cheers... Mark
Thinking about getting one of these when I turn 16 as my first bike do you know of anywhere I could get the accessories cheaper but of a similar quality?
Hey mate what are the dimesions of the saddle bags 14" long or smaller. I just bought the same bike and holy cow it's face, i am such a noob on it. It's hard to remeber when driving into the dive way what gear i was on but i'm sure i'll learn.
HI Mate, Thankyou for this video i went to Suzuki to buy a intruder but they don't sell sizzie bars or saddle bags for this motorclyle, just a sports rack so i wasn't going to buy one, i was going to go get V-star 250cc but this video has given me hope. I do have a question about the floorboards what are the pro's and con's of having them instead of the pegs?. And was it hard to get all the gear from these websites to australia. The bike looks great with all the gear on it thanks again.
Hey guys. I bought my Suzuki intruder vl250, 2007. Do you know what is the purpose of the key setting near to the key ignition? It is in the sane side of the key ignition contact, same hight around 10 cm back? Thanks for your time and help
G'Day Gaz, that's a nice price for a windscreen... well done! I'm not an expert on the wind dynamics but I had the Intruder cruising along at 100kms an hour with the windscreen on and Me & Nay on the bike. Still had more speed left in it. The way I see it, the windscreen is no bigger than my exsposed body which acts as a windscreen anyway. Therefore there should not be a big differance in wind dynamics except for comfort. Like I said I'm not an expert, just my own theorey. Xmas Cheers... Mark
hi mark, just love watching your vids, have just bought an intruder 250 as my first bike and so far am loving it! can you tell me what the model info is on the saddle bags? am looking for a set and love these ones!! keep up the great work mate!!! cheers
Hi Mate, bike coming on nice,I'm looking into getting a screen for mine, lucky enough it only cost $65 + $35 shipping from korea for the hyosung 250cc, what are the advantages of a screen? I'v been told you loose a lot speed on smaller bikes and higher fuel consumption due to drag, but for only $100 worth looking into keep vids coming Merry Christmas and new year to you and family
Hey mate i was wondering if you could show me a pic of your small sissy bar bag for the 250cc and then the bigger sissy bar bag on the 250cc. If you could be helping me out heaps for 150 bucks i'm having a hard choice which size to get.
G'day Joe, yeah very good idea mate, but it's more an issue of time as Nay now spends a lot of time working with wood and building furniture and stuff... it's her new little hobby :-) Cheers... Mark
G'day mate, I have just sent them via email. Sorry for the delay... flat out trying to get everything ready for the Simpson Desert Ramble ride. Cheers... Mark
if Nay still not comfortable yet riding a bike ,why not try a riding school . A riding school is the best for beginner riders and advanced riders as well, and it will help out a lot ,if she wants to go.
