- Okay Bandai, you have me ramped up now. I doubt you'll beat Hasbro's team size but I'm ready for more Guardians of the Galaxy. Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, and even Groot impress the hell out of me. Give me more!

S.H. Figuarts is killing the game with their very accurate and perfectly articulated figures, the unfortunate thing is that they're extremely expensive. Excellent review as always, Robo!

Yeah, like I mentioned, the fur could be more sharp and detailed. But that's about the only problem I have with him, besides the heavy tail.

I haven't commented awhile but I still been watching (albeit less then when I had more time) I especially like that you mentioned your a Transformer guy over a Go-Bot guy. NOT cuz of the Go-Bots I love Go Bots but because it's nice to hear about Transformers 😂 (even know I research daily on them for way more then 20 years. It's just about the mention lol) Love the Figuarts Rocket and Starlord!
I wish I had the money for more Transformers, one of my favorite properties of all time. But there is just SO much out there. I've had the page for the Toys Alliance MAS-01 Prime open for several days now though. So tempting...especially with Megatron coming.
This might be my one and only Starlord.

Isnt it scary robo? Every time you switch hands for rocket or groots head, they have the tiniest ball joints and they arent at all cheap.
Yeah. There was a couple of times that I didn't get them seated all the way and they fell of when I moved it, for a split second I'd think "damn, broke it!" Because that's what I usually do, haha.
Great review brother!!! I really like these but right now I'm satisfied with my Hasbro versions. If these were cheaper than hell yeah I'd be all over them. However if they do the rest of the team than I'll pick them all up. There's no way in Hell I could say no to a Gamora...
You can't lose with that plan. Keep what you have, and if Bandai does decide to move forward then jump on these.

The things I like about S.H. Figuarts are TMNT, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers & Mario, But not fan of the other figures they made, anyway have fun with them, and Thanks for your awesome videos, Keep it up!
I honestly want to get these but I worry (and don't want to) that they might do/release a Starlord or Rocket in their Infinity War outfits or Guardian Of The Galaxy 3 outfits, which would be outdating these. I don't want to repurchase the same character basically.
I think at this point that's normal. They change the costumes, all costumes, movie to movie, seemingly for the reason to sell new merchandise. You wait for Infinity War and then do you wait for GotG3? GotG4? It's an endless wait.

I prefer SH Figuarts. That Chris Pratt head is perfect. I've ordered Star Lord. I've already got Tony Stark, Iron Man mark 42 and Doctor Strange. I love the detail and the smaller size works for me. I hope Bandai makes Gamora and Nebula figures.

Robo, I recently picked up figuarts Star Lord and mine has the super tight, squeaky shoulders too. Should I be worried about potential breakage here, or is it just a loud, tight joint?
I've never had any trouble with the squeeky joints. Not sure if they ever loosen up, and I've had people tell me to lube them, but I never have and don't have any breakage.

Captain America? He's just slightly taller than Star-Lord, and a little more stylized, but they look pretty good together.
Right. I have the Figma models of Captain America, Iron Man, and Hulk. Then I have the SHF Ant-Man, and the Marvel Legends Star-Lord. But based on this video, I just ordered the SHF Star-Lord. He's GORGEOUS! Also ordered the SHF Doctor Strange. Best looking Strange besides the 1:6 Hot Toys IMO. I'm really thinking most of the SHF models are the best looking, next to the Figma. But Figma only has a few options. I pre-ordered the SHF Thor Ragnarok too. Wish he had a detachable helmet, but oh well ;) My Deadpool is that crazy Revoltech bastard LOL SUPER fun to pose but WAY taller than all the figures, I think he's even taller than the Figma Hulk. I have to decide on a DP that will fit into this group's size. Oh yeah, I also have the Medicom Batman. He's the only DC I have, as he's the only DC character I like.
Besides Joker. Batfleck is my favorite Batman, and Ledger's Joker is my second favorite DC. Oh dang, I may also have a movie Daredevil (yes Affleck again). I need to get my collection out and refresh my memory LOL

God dammit, I'm gonna have to shell out 70+ for a tiny articulated Raccoon. It looks SO much more accurate than the Legends one, which looks like it has rabies or something. Star Lord looks great, but I'm too happy with the Legends one to shell out the dough for it. If they make an SHF Drax and Gamora though, I may just have to invest.

Usually goes to a secondary shelf or the misfit shelf. Or sits in a box until I need another comparison.
Rockets guns look like ass. Thats odd for figuarts and i definitely agree with you about the fur on rocket it could have most definitely been more defined its really soft. Great review Robo keep up the great work man.

I don't live in another country though. Do you mean these Bandai exclusives? I ordered through Nippon-Yasan, they take the money, buy the exclusive, and then ships it out of country.

The Fwoosh lol no kidding. both are great indeed. those boxes surprised me
SHF Starlord and ML Starlord are not even in the same league, the latter being very toy-like. ML Gamora & Nebula are much better renditions of the characters. Anyways, it's a bittersweet victory that they nailed Pratt's likeness this much, considering his masked face is so cool this is the ONE SHF they could have screwed up the human face. Other than the size being a tad small even compared to other figuarts, very solid release. Rocket is kinda meh, the body's sculpt & paint is kinda shitty.
Well, Rocket's like 1/3 the size of a standard 1/12 scale action figure. Seeing him up close in photos kinda gives you the illusion that he should be huge enough to have more sculpt and paint details that he already has. You had to have him on hand to notice the absurdity that some dudes in the Bandai design room actually tried to work on something smaller than a thumb nail.
Haha, yeah, I usually get the main head with some kind f QC issue, this time around I couldn't be happier....but I can't decide which head to keep on there.
Great figure but not worth price. Especially paying for exclusive mark up price.
