ERKK HOSTED A HISTORIC LEDRA PALACE MEETING

On January 31, 2024 United Cyprus Republican Party (ERKK) hosted a historic meeting of leaders and representatives of Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot political parties participating in the bi-communal dialogue under the auspices of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Nicosia at the Ledra Palace Hotel.
Eye witnesses of the events which led to dismemberment and loss of territorial integrity of Cyprus in 1974 all agreed that the division of Cyprus was orchestrated by foreign sovereign powers.
Proposals were discussed about prosecution of sovereign actors using various instruments available to the civil society, including transitional justice.
United Cyprus Republican Party (ERKK) was represented by its General Secretary, international lawyer, Nicolaos Khovrin Komnenos Νικόλαος Χωβρήν Κομνηνός.
