I dont mean to be off topic but does anyone know a method to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost the account password. I would love any tips you can give me
It's been a while since I filmed a what I ate today and I know so many of you enjoy them! As usual, please don't compare how I eat to how you eat! We are all very different and I want these videos to give you food ideas, rather than push you to eat like me/feel bad about how you eat/judge how I eat. This is just one day out of many, and I eat very differently each and every day! I am also not a dietician or healthcare professional so take any experience/ideas I share with a pinch of salt and not to copy. Please reach out and speak to a healthcare professional if you are struggling with your eating habits/any form of disordered eating, or discuss your diet with a nutritionist if you're concerned about anything
The way you advocate for healthy eating and listening to your body makes me so happy. Unfortunately it’s so rare to see vegan influences without eating disorders or disordered eating habits :(
I love them. I have a vegetarian child who likes to do vegan days. You made me feel so much better about just slinging random stuff on a plate for him. Also I cannot believe Roxy has been with you a year, I was watching you for a long time before you got her!
I don't get triggered by what I eat in a day videos but I do like when creators do more of a "some things I ate this week" format where you present some meal ideas in a looser time frame. That way there's less comparison to how much someone eats per day or how often, because we don't get that information, just the meal ideas.
I really appreciate that disclaimer at the beginnig. I don't see it often and sometime it makes me feel like I'm really unhealthy. You always make sure to say that not all days are perfect and although it's good to try improve our lives it shouldn't make us feel bad or guilty. Love your chill style of videos and you are a rare example of an influencer who makes people inspired to make better choices without making them feel bad or comparing themself to you. Wish you all the best!
On a binge of your vidéos I’ve been needing to catch up on. It brings a smile to my face that you’re genuine and realistic. Thank you for always being humble and open with us. Makes me feel less lonely.
Your Grocery Hauls and Budget Vegan are still the best I’ve watched them so many times and always enjoy them there very inspiring especially for a new Vegan 🌱❤️
Hi! This was a lovely video. I have a little tip for meal prepping which is to write a list of all your favourite meals and then using it when you are making your weekly meal plan. So before i start planning our meals I go through what we have, find meals that we have the ingredients for and then make a Chopin Lizt.
Yes, I get black makeup on my eye bone, too! Thank you for being real about re-setting and crashing. It’s comforting to know I’m not the only one 💖 Thank you for the video!
Mindful eating is something that makes the biggest difference for me. And not being distracted/multitasking while I eat 🧘♀️ thanks for taking us on the walk with Roxie 🐶
You're right! Many people when they talk about selfcare, they thinking.. beauty products, skincare, etc. But eating good food and confort food IS selfcare.
It’s refreshing to watch a “what I eat in a day” from someone who snacks 😂 so used to watching ones where they have 3 healthy meals then an apple for pudding, (which is great, go them!) but it’s nice to see this video as it feels reflective of normal life! Trying to eat healthy meals but also getting out all the exciting vegan snacks when on the sofa 😘👌🏼
Have read some of the comments about b vitamins but I work for H&B and we usually say they are water soluble and so your body takes what it needs and excess is passed through you. Love the video!!
B vitamins are water soluble, so any excess you’ll just pee out❤️✨You could try adding a pinch of baking soda to your coffee to reduce acidity and tummy upsets
I had such a little amount of fruit and veggies recently and I desperately need new ideas of vegan things that do not contain soy, so I am happy your channel exists!
Regarding the coffee, I had a same issue and stopped drinking it for some time. Than I discovered that if I am drinking coffee freshly grounded of light brown beans, I am OK. It has less acidity and more oils and vitamins, minerals still in it if it is not burned (like Italian style).
Often when i watch your videos i find myself wanting your life lol. Living on the english countryside in a lovely old cottage with a cute dog and a kind partner and working from home and all that🥺
Be careful with this line of thought! It’s easy to slip into. But my life is far from perfect and there is so much I don’t share that goes on that is hard. Working for yourself is a blessing and a curse haha. I love my life don’t get me wrong! But don’t get caught up in comparing your life to someone else’s xxx
I know a lot of my friends and colleagues find me weird for making a meal plan in advance, but it helps me to feel less anxious. Hope you feel better soon mental health wise. :)
I have been walking as part of a walking and talking group around Padstow this year. It has saved my sanity and although was walking on my own through lockdown I still enjoyed it. Can’t wait for your book
You are sooo relatable 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 thank you so much for sharing about your life so openly. I sooo can relate about the sleeping schedule and eating stuff and not taking care of myself 🙏🌿 we are getting there!
Yay for seeing your beautiful face and hearing your voice again! I must say, in spite of fully understanding why you took a break , I still missed your content a lot! I am so happy you're back, putting up some content from time to time
Yes! The ones that make sure they take time away to look after themselves - which is understandable - are the ones I miss the most like Immy and Venetia as well 🥰
Didn‘t have time to watch your video today but wanted to give it a thumbs up and comment anyway. Looking forward to tomorrow morning. Porridge, cup of tea and your video sounds great to me 💛 Edit: I was not disappointed 😊
I love watching your videos. To me it's very calming. I especially loved the short takes of your walk and of nature (a stream, trees, cows in a meadow - love it all). And I feel that when I am overwhelmed I just resort to brown food too! I have to definitely think about my diet to eat a little more healthy so I do meal prepping too. It always helps me!
Coffee is good for you in moderation, as anything, if you have no specific intolerance. I'm post-transplant and my doctors say that coffee is actually good for your liver cos it prevents liver cancer.
If you take a small fluffy brush and put some loose powder on your eyelids before putting on mascara it stops the mascara transferring to your brow bone! :)
Maddie, try the bulletproof coffee recipe - it's good for those with upset stomach and anxiety. Basically you blend a bit of coconut oil with your coffee (literally in the blender), tastes amazing and makes your system digest it slower, making the side symptoms milder. Xx
Dropped everything when I saw your face on my screen ;) Love these!!! :) and I do know where you are coming from when you say you don't like these vids, but they are very inspiring - even to a year long vegan ^^
All the best for you, I hope you'll start feeling 100% yourself soon. This year has been hard on us all... Also so nice to see you being so vulnerable about coffee and being anxious. Great tips. Please, please be careful with your vitamins and check daily recommended amount. You said "why not take them all?" There's a good reason not to: overdose of vitamins can be very dangerous. I truly wish you the best, take care of yourself. Love.
NOMO now make a caramel bar. It has soft, almost liquid rather than chewy caramel inside every piece. Incredible! I have only found it in Sainsbury’s so far. If your store sells NOMO but does not have the caramel in yet you can ask the store manager if they are able to order it in. It is well worth the time and effort. Happy Hunting! XO
Be careful with the B12, I was taking it everyday and got a phone call from my doctor after a blood test asking what on Earth I was doing as my vitamin B levels were through the roof! 😂 I don’t know that it’s dangerous to have too much but I just stick to the b12 in my multivitamin now, as well as nutritional yeast and other vegan foods that are enriched with b12. P.s. love your honesty again in this video - I relate with everything in terms of this year! Sending love 🖤
this same thing happened to me. it took years to get that out of my system, paid attention to avoid B12 fortified milks and that helped I think! definitely disagree with the blanket B12 advocacy, it can do more harm than good.
It rly depends on what test they're doing for B12 levels, there are a few different ones that have varying efficiencies in showing what your B12 levels actually are. You really do just pee out any excess B12 your body doesn't need, it's really hard to overdose on bc ur body is v intuitive in how much it absorbs- if u have enough B12 in ur body u won't absorb any more. The recommended nutrient levels used in medicine are a rough guideline and really don't represent how much peoples bodies can vary in their needs. Coming from a biochemistry graduate 💞
very important what type of b12 you’re taking. As a nutrionist is see a lot of “anorganic” forms of b12 in cheaper supplement which dont get absorbed well and can build up. When you’re taking an organic form (which means its already been enhanced to a form we can absorb straight away). These are adenosyl and methyl - cobalamine we can actually use it. When it says just “b12” on the packaging of cyano cobalamine stay away from it.
That cookbook looks awesome!! Love an easy one pot meal. I've been using the Moon Juice cookbook lately which I love for morning plant-based beverages and potions 😋
I find having decaf or a well made really smooth cold brew works for me! The smoothness helps so it’s not to acidic and doesn’t give me the shakes for some reason. I have heard putting in a bit of coconut or MCT oil helps keep the body from getting to jittery on caffeine !
Totally relate...I used to eat more plant based and less processed foods but then I got lazy and just give in to all my favorite veganized comfort foods and definitely feeling like crap. I look to your videos for delicious vegan healthy meals especially them soups 😋
'Lazy vegan' y'all speaking my language! When I first went vegan, I was cooking super elaborate things all the time. I feel like the longer I'm vegan, the lazier I get lol.
I get stomach irritation from coffee too, and have found if I drink it with milk (non-dairy of course) and have it with a meal it really helps. Also, vitamins can cause stomach issues too. Especially if you take them without a meal. That’s just me though, everyone is different.
I always love your videos! I am also re-setting my sleep and I understand how you feel but you never need make-up to look beautiful. You ARE beautiful! I also relate to all you say about coffee. I only have one cup of coffee a day when I wake up and I seem to be able to cope without it giving me too much anxiety if I only have the one. I also tried Berocca but I didn't like the look of the ingredients and have given it up. I just take a daily B12. Take good care and sending love from the forests of Tasmania. Thank you for your great content. ❤️x
HI!! Im just visiting your channel to say I miss you! I've been studying a lot and have not been able to follow you for a while, but I happened to see your face at my screen and I felt so glad! Hope you are well Madeleine. Love from STHLM

I've actually lost count of how many times I've started a new routine this year and then just let it die a sad death. I hear you! it's hard

Just want to say thank you to you and all youtube creators who are creating content during this crazy time. Y’all are helping keep lots of folks sane.
no breakfast, whipping together lunch at 2 pm...feeling like crap, yeah tht hit home. oof.

Yay! I loooove these types of videos 😍 So cozy 🙏🏻
The cheese on those crackers looks so realistic and DELISH
That wine is so so good! I work at a wine retailer in New Zealand and the winemakers are awesome!

I too experience a negative affect on my anxiety from caffeine. I make homemade decaf cold brew ☺️
Oat yoghurt is very much like kefir... bitter and overall meh if you want a real yoghurt, amazing if you're looking for a kefir alternative :D
I don't like the Light & Free one, but the Oatly Strawberry and Oatly Blueberry yogurts are delicious, and not bitter at all.

i wish they did big raisin crunch nomo bars, they're my favourite

So good to see you back 😍😍🐞
