Nice review. I love this fidget line. I have the 2024 version of the throwing card and found that once I took it apart and put it back together it’s way more sensitive now. Not sure why
How do you like the 1.0? I always kinda felt it was a bit limited and finicky to open - is that the case or am I over thinking it? I'm more interested in it now I have the 2.0, but not sure if I want to get one or not.
Hello! I'm very new to this whole fidget stuff and for a few days I have been exploring the internet for a good first fidget, and this seems like it might be the one. I have a few questions and hoping any1 can help me. From watching the video and reading comments, apprently the decals can come off? Is the quality really that bad for a $200 chunk of metal? I'm kind of unsure to buy this now. Is there any way to prevent those from happening? Or is it just based on luck or the quality is just bad. Oh also Is the brand 'MOT' good? I saw this new product they made called "MOT Skybreaker" and it looks amazing. I'm just looking for the perfect fidget toy, cuz honestly I might not buy more than one fidget toy considering the price. Is there any good brands or products with very good quality? And which brands or products I should avoid?
Thanks for your comment and for watching. Unfortunately, yes, the decal pieces fall off these, and I made a post on my channel showing the '1' on the back of this had fallen off without me noticing. I used the included glue to reattach it but I admit I was not pleased. 01EDC are notoriously poor with quality control and do not appear to have made any improvement. This issue is not tied to just one material version of the Pop 2.0 because I have seen posts on the FB groups from various owners reporting issues with zirc, titanium, etc versions. It also isn't limited to the Pop 2.0, as the 01EDC Time Badge I also bought has issues. In my disassembly video for the Time Badge the '0' on the front fell off. As much as I love the Pop 2.0, I cannot in good conscience recommend it to a beginner. For anyone familiar with the brand and fidgets in general, I would say it would depend on whether the individual would be willing to put up with having to reattach decals or not. I totally agree that for the price, bits should not be falling off. So no, I don't recommend it for you and wouldn't want something like this to put you off the hobby or give you a bad experience. MOT are an excellent brand - I own the Rhythm and the Groove and they are some of the best I own. Other brands worth looking into that have good reputations are Lautie, Wanwu, ACEDC, Metal Toys DZ, Magnus, Modusworks, NJT, to name a few. If you want to see some videos of various ones I've tried/owned I have a fidget playlist which includes some collection ranking videos. I hope that helps somewhat? If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Hey, excellent review! Where did you get the paracord from?
That zirconium pop is absolutely gorgeous too. It's an especially awesome pairing with the time badge. Its a shame to hear about so many issues with 01 in terms of QC. I know personally I wouldn't drop that much money on a fidget with so much potential for it to fall apart. At one point I was considering getting a pod because its relatively inexpensive and looked fun, but apparently they are notorious for having magnets fall out and stuff.
I'm really torn over their products to be honest. I'm still pleased with everything I have from them, but these niggling issues really let them down. When they first started I remember they had terrible issues with quality control. My experience thus far with their products tells me they have not made any improvement. The POP 2.0 is truly an excellent fidget and one of my absolute favourites, but I have had issues with decals falling off their products. They seriously need to fix this, or move away entirely from gluing on decals. I had one of their aluminium Pod sliders for a while, it was a very good little tracked slider and I guess I was lucky because I didn't have any issues with magnets falling off. I'd love to get one of their mechanical push sliders because I was given an ultem top plate that looks like a Gameboy Advance (has a little maze with a ball in it)... but I'm hesitant to spend my money on one due to the issues 01EDC have in general.
Awesome, nice choice. Just be careful of the decals on it. I didn't notice the 1 on the back fall out of my Zirc POP 2.0 and only found later it was missing. Luckily I found it and glued it back in, but I haven't had it long and for a while I thought I'd never find it. The bead is also by 01EDC, called the Time Capsule No.2 (I have a previous video on it).
Two bearings? I thought there was only one in there that goes round the 'female' part of the screw assembly. You can message me on fb if you need further help, I'll do my best to assist!
I haven't completely decided on whether I'm going to sell it or not yet. I've already had bits fall off the zirc while my ti version hasn't had any issues yet. I may keep it, I'm not sure.
So from your experience as well as your knowledge from the community, which material is the best for this unit? Is it more fun to use in TI vs Zirc for example? Cheers.
Hmm, to be honest there isn't much difference. At first the zirc didn't feel as good in terms of feedback, but these do have a slight break in period. After constant use it is fantastic, and just as capable as the titanium. The main differences are price and aesthetics really. Oh and weight. One negative I will say about the ti is the anodised finish will not last. I've already lost some of the gold colour on the back. The matte feel of the ti isn't as nice to hold in the hand as the zirc, and the zirc overall feels just a tad smoother. If you can afford either, I'd say just go with the one you like the look of most.

I always thought the Pop 1.0 looked awkward to use haha. But now I have the 2.0 I'm more interested in maybe trying a 1.0 someday. I think because I had a Lautie Shuffle I've found this very intuitive to use, and I only need to run my thumb over one point to make it fan out completely. The best thing about it is the feedback and sound, it's just so addictive. Do you recommend any particular material for the Pop 1.0?
This might seem like a weird question but when do you think a fake of this would come out? I understand that these are generally expensive regardless of where you are but it takes a big chunk of my monthly pay to get one of these in my country especially due to lack of localised prices. I’ve been given a fake slider by a friend and personally, it was more than enough to curb my fidgety needs despite being a fake so if I can get an affordable fake I think I’d rather that. Also I’m really curious but does the Pop 2.0 have a clicking function like the Lautie Shuffle?

Thanks! The cord is from Paracord EU 👍

Got the zirc one. Top fidget 🔥 where did you get the spinning bead, looks awesome on the paracord.

Weird, which material did you get?
Mine broke less than a day of me playing with it! I was so disappointed. It came with some spare parts, however.

Love my blue Ti , I’m not keen on the black colour lol 😅
How much will you be selling it for?

These look amazing but I can’t help but feel they are awkward to play with. I have the original pop 1 which feels like playing with a zippo lighter

I honestly couldn't say if or when that may happen.
