- Tennessee QB Hendon Hooker led the Volunteer offense this season with 3,135 yards and 27 touchdowns. Hooker was injured against South Carolina cutting his season short, but looks to be one of the most talented quarterbacks of this upcoming draft.

This guy with Jameson Williams and Jamyrr Gibbs is gonna be something else
And Amon-Ra St. Brown, Sam LaPorta, Donovan Peoples-Jones, and David Montgomery, plus he got one of the best offensive lines waitin for him. This offense is gonna be somethin special when he's ready and fully healthy.

@@LionsDen313 he could be our starting QB as early as next year and we could trade Jared Goff cause he got one more year left. Like you said Goff is good but not great cause he got limitations. He's not good under pressure, he lacks mobility, he can be turnover prone at times, and his arm is not that strong cause he can't throw a pass no further than 40 yards and not only Hendon Hooker got a cannon of an arm, he can be dangerous with his legs and can take off runnin is nobody's open.
@@RonDenWhite90 bro HH highlights got me so hype that I would love for that to go down like that next year, but got a feeling that they might just let Goff play out his contract and prep HH to start in 2025. However, if Goff keeps playing the way he's been these past couple games for the remainder of this season then you might be right

@@skylimitkt In Hooker's defense I will say it's likely that USC surrounded Caleb with more pieces seeing that they are a pipeline to the NFL.
@@tinytim9172Caleb definitely has some pieces but Hyatt got 15 touchdowns this year and almost 1300 yards over half of his tds are just Hyatt. I do think he’s a first round qb if he doesn’t get injured and would be in the talks for heisman. Can’t wait to see what we do with Hendon in the future
Hall of Fame QB's Kurt Warner & Roger Staubach were both 28 when they made their first NFL start.
Age will not be the determining factor when it comes to Hooker's success in the NFL.

100%!!!! His throwing action is a mix of Dan Marino (quick release) & Warren Moon! That's about as good of a combo as I can think of! lol
Great size, good speed, nice zip on his throws, quick motion, good mechanics, seems like a great leader. He doesn’t have the physical ability of the top prospects but he has plenty of good traits for him to develop into a staring caliber NFL QB even if he is already 25

My favorite QB in the draft, the pocket presence is there, the arm strength, the ability to run but doesn't rely on it. Only downside is his age but he will be entering his prime right away

H.H. is the reason why the Lions haven't extended Goff's contract yet. I believe the Lions want to see him this coming pre-season to verify what they have in H.H! I like Goff a lot, but this kids ceiling is way higher than Goff's! It's going to be interesting to see how this plays out.
Nah they’re going to extend him. I’m not real psyched on the whole extension. I mean Goff is a hell of a QB. But I would like to see the lions be conservative with their cap space and let Hendon develop. I mean I’m not expecting Hendon to be Patrick Mahomes but I personally think he’ll make an impact like Goff. I think Hendon Hooker is a well rounded QB.

Doesn’t look good to me as a Vikings fan. I want a QB bad first but not him. Big things I notice of great QBs is when they are under pressure, can they keep their head up and still try to throw? He doesn’t, he instantly tucks it and starts running, also stares down his first option way too much. Throes we’rent great etc. stroud looks the best imo
